I voted photo, but my very favorite was actually relative to a Destination Wedding in Key West – they sent a “message in a bottle” complete with sand and seashells. It was super cute!

probably cards with or without photos. A thoughtful design that gives the information clearly usually floats my boat 🙂

Although traditional paper save the dates are always fun to send and receive, I’d definitely appreciate a well-designed (i.e. not tacky!) email version, because it’s the most environmentally conscious way to go. Not sure if that’s your thing, but it seems that more people are taking that into consideration these days.

I really like getting magnets!  Primarily because they have dual use and I keep them on my fridge forever.

I often think the photo ones look kind of cheesy, but that should in no way deter someone from sending them! You should definitely send the kind that you like best.

i’m having a really really unusual save the date, so it’s hard for me to say! Lol. I think people like ones with pictures that they can stick on their fridge, most people like pics anyways

@LaborofLove – I tend to think the unique ones are the best. 🙂

I don’t really care if it has a photo or not, or what it looks like at all. I mean, of course I’d prefer a well-designed one to something ugly, but as long as it has the info that we need, that’s all that matters.

If I had enough money I would have gotten a magnet. I mean people will probably put it on their refrigerator any how. A magnet or a photo std but I choose a magnet if I had the choice.

I always need magnets and this way, I am reminded of the upcoming event every time I need a snack! (j/k) !!!

As much fun as magnets are…there are very few places in which they can be displayed. And we’re not the type to load up our fridge with stuff, so then it’s difficult to find somewhere for them. Whereas, a postcard or photo can be placed on a bulletin board, stuck in a mirror, etc.
