I want to make my wardrobe more “adult” if that makes sense. I’m 27 and can still fit into juniors clothes because I’m slim & tall. But I’m not really liking the styles anymore. I mean sometimes there are some cute tops, but i think I need more a adult look.
I’ve recently fallen in love with clothes from White House Black Market – but I usually shop at the outlet because it can be expensive. I’ve also shopped at Express (especially for work pants). Any other stores?

I like New York & Company and Express for my work attire. I still wear juniors most of the time, but I’m still in college so I tell myself it’s okay lol

@MrsN14: yea, it was ok in college. I liked NY&Co a lot more a couple of years ago. I get stuff from there sometimes, but others not so much.

I LOVE express, they always have great deals online. I also shop at Nordstom for basically everything. Also check out the Loft or Banana Republic.

@FoxyBride14: i love express and WHBM (but they’re pretty expensive, i’m still in college lol). I’m not sure if you have one near you but I love Kohls. I get a lot of my clothes from their as well.

I totally adore the Salvation Army Thrift Shop. No kidding, I like the clothes there better than what is available in retail stores.

@jaymelicurtis: true, but I got a really cute dress there and I love their editor pants. I don’t really get much else there.
@Missknicole: thanks! I’ll definitely check those out!

@cupcakebride2013: if you have a WHBM outlet near you, it’s a lot better. Still a bit expensive, but better. My Future Mother-In-Law has been getting me gift cards there for my birthday & Christmas, though so I’ve been splurging lol. I love it there. I do have a kohls. I like the LC clothes line. I got some cute tops there.

I’m a cheapie, so I shop Target. Probably 75% of my wardrobe is Target. Another 15% is probably thrift store finds. The rest is JCPenny, Khol’s, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, and few other bits and pieces.

Neiman Marcus, Peruvian Connection, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren. My staples!
Some other go-to stores with reasonable pricing: Boston Proper (although quality can be lacking at times, have to be careful of that), Cache, ZARA.

The dress code at my workplace is basically jeans and a t-shirt, so I do a lot of my clothes shopping at Fleet Farm (yes, the hardware store; they have the best jeans), other places I go are JC Penny’s and Kohls. I’ve got a few cardigans from Target, but honestly I’m not that impressed with the quality. I also recently bought some interview clothes from Herbergers, it was the only place I could find a simple classic black blazer for under $100.
