Oh man, I have this CD that I got with a SHAPE workout DVD and I swear, I used the DVD like, 6 times and I listen to that CD every time I run. It’s just songs with a really pumped up beat. They all sound pretty much the same and help me get into the zone and just keep pushing. I highly recommend just buying a really good cardio mix CD because the beats are usually pumped up and remixed to keep your heart rate at a certain level.

I recently borrowed my sisters 2010 Grammy pics. CD and normally I don’t get into today’s artists (I’m a classic rock fan) but I can’t wait to burn this onto my iPod.
I’m doing a 1/2 marathon in less than a month and I need the inspiration.
I highly recommend “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas (the first song on this CD). This song is infectious.
To see a list of the rest of the tracks I’ve linked it below:

Check out Girl Talk, a mash up artist. Really fun, though full of naughty language, so be warned!

I love oldies so some of my fave workout tunes are:
Kodachrome – Paul Simon
Don’t Stop Me Now – Queen
No Matter What You Are – Badfinger
Livin’ Thing or Evil Woman – ELO
A Little Piece of Heaven – Avenged Sevenfold (it’s like 8 minutes long so the workout flies by beause I’m so into the song)
Reach Out – The Four Tops
Try a Little Tenderness – Otis Redding

I love all the suggestions – I’m going to spend a lot of money on iTunes this weekend!
Another one I like (especially for spinning when you’re on a vicious hill): The Final Countdown.
And “It’s Raining Men” by the Weathergirls. FH even has it on his playlist

I like working out to premade mixes like Power Music Workout or Country Music Workout CDs. I can usually sing along to all the songs and they all have the same beats so I don’t have to change my speed (I like treadmill workouts).
