Has anyone mentioned Battlestar Galactica yet?  I didn’t watch it forever even though my friends all really liked it.  I gave it a try and I was instantly hooked!

@KatNYC2011: Dollhouse is one of my FAVORITE shows.

To say Joss Whedon is a genius is probably understating it, lol.

I’m forcing my roommate to watch it now.

@Lady Baker: I love Psych! I feel like not enough people watch this show.

Also, try Battlestar Galatica. Love it.

@KatNYC2011: Oh, Battlestar is SO on Netflix. We just started re-watching it at season 3 for some reason. Fantastic.

Also, Bones, The IT Crowd, Top Gear. Ooh, ooh, and Better Off Ted!

I have a quick question. Are new/current seasons of shows available on Netflix streaming? For example, the new seasons of shows starting this month and next, or is it just past seasons? Also, is it like OnDemand, and we could watch it anytime we want, or would we have to watch it then.

Basically, I guess I’m just curious how it really works, because the nitty gritty details are usually left out when marketing services like this. On their site, is emphasizes “unlimited”, but I’m curious to see what that really means, because there’s always a catch, no matter what they say.  I’m worried that if we got rid of our cable, I’d miss out on random shows, that fell through the cracks so to speak, if we had Netflix. We have a PS3 here in the living room, a Wii in our son’s room, (cable boxes in both, as well as our bedroom), so my other question is what would we do for our bedroom, because there’s no “box” for Netflix, right?

Ugghh, sorry for rambling. Fill me in, give me the pros and cons. Our cable bill is getting ridiculous.

ETA: Sorry, that turned into more than a quick question, lol.

I finished Nip/Tuck over Xmas break last year, haha. I was HOOKED, and I’m normally not a TV person at all.

Jericho is pretty good. Also, Skeet Ulrich…yum. Just started watching Mad Men, and I’m pretty impressed so far, too.

I don’t know if anyone’s thrown out Parks and Recreation yet, but that’s all on Netflix, and it’s awesome and hilarious!

I’ve also been catching up on Drop Dead Diva. Love that show so much!

@Wonderwoman217: The selection is still pretty damn impressive, though. 🙂 The only thing you have to watch for is when/if you sign up for DVDs by mail (some things are DVD-only). If you want more than one at a time, the cost can add up really fast.
