I’m rewatching Nip/Tuck too!  I’ve just gotten to the season where they move to Hollywood.

I second the recommendation for The Riches.  I love Bones and Law & Order SVU too.

@Lady Baker: Are you kidding me?  They have the old Nick shows on Netflix, must find and add to queue!

ETA: I so added Angry Beavers, Aaahh Real Monsters, Rocko’s Modern Life, and Hey Arnold.  I wonder why Doug isn’t available?

@KatNYC2011: I LOVE LOVE LOVE Roku. Fiance got it for me last year as an anniversary gift. I was hooked an hour later.

You are correct. They do not post seasons of any show until they are available for DVD purchase (as per contractual obligations). You can watch any show that is available on instant stream whenever you want and watch it over and over and over again.

Occasionally they will stop certain movies/shows from being available on instant stream, but I’ve found that to be rare.

Though annoying: Amelie, The Duchess of Duke Street, etc. are not available anymore.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: They don’t have Doug on there because Nickelodeon still won’t release it because they are a$$holes! They also won’t release “Salute Your Shorts”, jerks. But at least MTV has a box set of Daria out, finally!

Weeds, Bones, Mad Men, Saving Grace, Pushing Daisies (ok, apparently this is DVD only now? It wasn’t before, but it is one of the BEST shows I’ve seen… so if you have the DVD option you should get it) , Dead Like Me, SVU

Oh yes, Dead like Me as well. Now I’m ready to start on a new series. I don’t want these shows when they come on tv lol. I actually barely watch TV

“Party Down,” which I’d never heard of when it was on regular TV-freaking hilarious comedy.

“Battlestar Galactica” Very good, and very addictive. I always say I’m just going to watch one, then find myself 5 hours later, wondering what happened.

“Dead, Like Me” The show that proves life can still be confusing, even when you are dead.

“The Pillars of the Earth” The story behind the building of a massive cathedral in the 12th century. This is really a fantastic story, and you get very invested in the characters. It also gives you a different perspective on how all the gothic cathedrals in Europe came to be.

“Arrested Development” Oddly enough, I couldn’t get into the series at all when it was on, but the shows now seem so much funnier, when you watch them back to back. Definatly worth watching.

“The N0. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” It is very sad that this series only lasted one season. It is funny, and smart, and eye opening. Set in Botswana, it shows a very real Africa that Americans just never see.

@Wonderwoman217: Hulu gets a lot of the current shows and most of the tv networks stream current episodes too, usually a day later. It’s honestly pretty easy to legally watch new shows without cable.

We watched Lost all summer. Now I’m doing mad men and my husband is watching all of the star treks. We re-watched bsg last winter and I’ll probably do it again because it’s so damn good. When we need something lighter we flip on a 30 rock or arrested development.

Just started Mad Men, forgot Army Wives is on there, gonna have to start getting caught up on that. Definitely watch more of Dexter, I wasn’t sold on the first episode but by the end of the first season I was addicted. Only 2 seasons are on streaming though, we have to get the discs now 🙁
