vespria :  I was bit by a spider last summer and it almost killed me. I found that stone and I think it looks like a coffin. Instantly I knew what I wanted to do with it. The spider will be all oxidised silver, the body will be a pearl and the head is silver. Here it is in progress.

vespria :  sure! These pics don’t show it too well, but you get an idea. It’s a lighter pink but I adjusted the color so you can see the facets better.

Also, it is now set as a solitaire ring. This was taken before she was set. ๐Ÿ™‚

vespria :  I honestly couldn’t tell you a thing about the facets, I don’t really know anything about them! Maybe someone else might be able to tell by looking at it?

And since we’re talking about uncommon stone cuts, here’s a Christmas tree shaped diamond ๐Ÿ™‚

My last wedding band, I was wearing it just 3 weeks ago before the upgrade for my 20th. It’s now on my right hand. The color change garnet is trillion cut, the diamond is round brilliant set in a 3 prong and triangle bezel to mimic the other side. I really like the shape of triangles ๐Ÿ™‚
