vespria :  I love the sparkle. Once we started looking at stones in person, the “crushed ice” ones were too busy for me. Fiance loved the rectangular shapes but emerald wasn’t sparkly enough for me. We came across the prince by chance, but the selection was extremely limited. My second choice was cushion (chunkier sparkle than the brilliants) but somehow he lucked out and found this stone with perfect timing. I just got engaged 2 weeks ago and am constantly distracted by it 🙂

vespria :  It is an Australian Sapphire.  I never ordered anything from him before and I was just going on what I read online. I heard good reviews on Pricescope.  So I went for it.  He was a pleasure to work with.  It is a little darker than the pictures.  I am hoping when it is set that I will see more of the blue and green flashes.  Since the color depends on what type of light you are king. Here was the posting.

liara :  I love ametrine in general, wish it was a harder gemstone.  I’d rock that stone in a yellow gold bezel.

I love trillion cuts! A friend of mine has a large trillion diamond solitaire with a plain wedding band. It is definitely an eye catcher!
