Ukulele4You :  Aren’t they nasty. my friends dad was bitten on the back while he too was sleeping. He didn’t know it until a couple days later when he was hopping in the shower and his wife, my friends mom walked into the bathroom and saw his back and the grapefruit sized wound… Or something to that effect. He said he didn’t even feel it. A friend of mine was bitten on the calf and ended up having to have a HUGE (if you cut a baseball in half) portion of her calf removed to rescue her leg and stop the decay. Where were you bitten? Where do you live? Sometimes they wander into AZ but we primarily deal with the black widow. I hear of people being bitten in their sleep from the brown recluse. We have to wonder if they are just not much a recluse at all. The widow rarely leaves her web so if you see her web you will more than likely find her. I don’t think the recluse even spins a web do they? I don’t know much. I just know they are nasty little creatures. But your broach and story is so incredible to me. I do not consider myself fascinated by spiders I don’t own one as pet nor would I ever, but your story has me hooked. LOL. Where were you bitten? I gotta know.

Ukulele4You :  That is incredible. What an incredible story, what an incredible event and time in your life (you know what I mean) what an incredible piece of jewelry to have. I love the final product. I too love spiders. Not in a sense where I enjoy their presence near me LOL but I am fascinated by them. A quote I love which always reminds me of spiders and always reminds me of people who are boring is “Normal is an illusion. What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly”. I love your story and your one of a kind piece of jewelry.

Theres not many trillion solitaire rings around in weddingbee, so I just have to show you mine! ๐Ÿ˜Š

The diamond was my mothers, but she gave it to me for my 30th Birthday to make into a ring.

My fiancé and I are using it as a temporary engagement ring for now until we find the perfect one together ๐Ÿ˜Š
