I find I cook a lot of the same sort of meals and am looking for some easy, healthy alternatives!
My go to meal is chicken, Uncle Bens rice (the kind you cook by microwave, don’t judge!), and baked sweet potatoe fries.
What is yours?

I’m really bad about always doing meat and rice. Fried chicken and rice is one of mine. Usually with a veggie on the side. Or teriyaki beef with rice. Lol.

Probably spaghetti. We always have ground turkey, spaghetti sauce, noodles and random veggies (mushrooms, carrots, celery) so I just mix them all up into a spaghetti sauce if I don’t feel like thinking about dinner too much. It’s pretty quick too.

Making wraps with sauteed chicken sausage, veggies and cheese. One of my favorites 🙂

Chili. It lasts for a few days. We will have it with rice one day and with a baked potato the next. Meat, beans, vegetables, rice. Yum.

My lazy meal is a salad with whatever good happens to be in the produce store on the ground floor of our building, and cheese toast. I keep a curry paste in the fridge as well, for variety. My fiance doesn’t consider it a meal unless there is bread, so I am always looking for ways to use day-old bread.

@allinoelle: soups are quick and easy for me. vegetable soup, lentil soup, rib soup etc
and they can last more than one day so they serve as lunch and dinner!

Chicken of various types and rice, burgers of various types. A lot of pasta too.

wraps – at the moment i am obsessed with crumbed fish, lettuce tomato carrot and heaps of tartare sauce.. yum!
we have vietnamese spring rolls once a week coz they’re so easy and another is san choy bow as an australian celebrity chef just released one in a box you just have to add the fresh ingredients and it literally take 10 mins to get dinner on the table.
tacos, spag bol, burgers.. we get stuck on the same meal for ages until we’re both so sick of it we can’t stand the thought of it..

box mashed potatoes and chicken with garlic and cilantro. I’m weird always crave potatoes and cilantro 🙂

I have been eating Greek yogurt and adding frozen raspberries as my lunch for the past two months now I think. It’s tasty and filling!
For husband and I, I will do either spaghetti or mac n’ cheese with hamburgers if I don’t feel like getting adventerous. He likes to cook steak and fries.

we do that too! it got to the point where we were eating honey mustard chicken at least, once a week – IT WAS JUST SO DELICIOUS!
can’t even look at it now. LOL.

I take Seeds of Change rice, chickpeas, pineapple, and salsa, stirfry it, add an egg, add some avocado and cheese, and EAT IT. Mmmm it’s so weird but it’s so delicious.

We eat a lot of brinner (mostly eggs with toast), turkey tacos, and steak with salad.

Fast chicken dishes. Baked chicken, rice & a veggie usually. Easiest chicken dish we do is chicken breasts in a roast pan/cassarole dish and pour a can of mushroom soup (or any other cream soup) over them. Bake until the chicken is cooked. Easy peasy. And so good with rice!
