My Darling Husband was in charge of booking a limo.  About 4 weeks prior to the wedding, it was still not booked, so I finally took care of it.  He had LOTS of opinions, but not so many responsibilities!

@kateisstoned:

Men’s attire.

And I’m second guessing that duty.

Nothing that he is exclusively handling on his own, but I’ve given him little jobs to do every week and made sure he follows through with those. Mostly things like phone calls and contacts that I don’t have time to make.

He’s also done most of the work with our caterers, which was unplanned, but has been very helpful.

@kateisstoned:  To contact his men and make sure they get their tuxes ordered. Asked him to do this in January, still hasn’t, and I finally had to myself. Tuxes have to be ordered by June. I’m putting everything else together, every phone call, everything..

@Mimoza:  haha…me too!

-helping me plan out the ceremony (along with our officiant)

-helping me pick out some music

-pick out the mens’ attire…but I will oversee that too.

Hm…that’s about it!

My Fiance has helped with put together some DIY things such as invitations and favors. He was also in charge on men’s attire, and his family contributed to the price of the flowers.

Aside from helping me with specific things (specific songs, food, ceremony stuff, etc.), not much. Basically just wrangling his GMs and making sure they get measured and call in their numbers.

Well we researched and booked the trip together, but other than that he’ll be in charge of his own attire, helping me with music, and location of where exactly we’ll get married in the resort, and showing up. LOL

He’s been involved in most of the decisions.  He’s in charge of men’s attire and making sure I don’t get too bling happy.  I don’t know what’s causing it, but I swear I turn into this raving, rhinestone loving lunatic when I see sparkly options.  His most important job is to take away the shiny things until I come to my senses and stop thinking “I CAN BLING EVERYTHING”.

All with assistance he picked mens attire, paid for alcohol and will be delivering it to venue, he helped with wedding bands(ironically he was the picky one)

His one true job on his own we to set up a time to meet with the dj(he is an acquaintance of FIs) and i literally had to say something to him every 2 days for 2 weeks before he did it. smh.

He did help pick a few songs…he has lots of ideas and opinions but basicall he’s a “tell me when and where to show up groom”

He’s responsible for:

– planning and booking the honeymoon.

– paying for all paper items (invitations, save-the-dates, table numbers, etc)

– getting tuxedo information from his brother and getting fitted

– buying his own accessories for the wedding

– helping out with picking music

That’s about it.
