Reading, Drawing, Sewing (I prefer handsewing, mostly because I can’t get my machine to work for more than one sitting), Wood-carving, Cold-steel knife-making, Painting, Programming Webpages, Research, Writing, Brewing, Cooking (including baking bread – Boyfriend or Best Friend LOVES it), Sculpting, Costuming, Stained-glass…

My mom is into quilting, cross-stitch, and stained-glass.  I got most of my hobbies from my dad.

Yoga, running, hiking, gardening, cooking, and all things dog-related.  I also act, dance, and sing, but that’s my job more than anything.  But, I also do it for fun.  (aka even if no one is paying me too!)

wow… there are A LOT of hobbies out there.  Start with what you like to do.

Do you like sewing?  If so, you can start quilting, sewing crafts, making aprons, etc.

There’s cross-stitch and plastic canvas (I prefer plastic canvas)

There’s making jewelry and/or other beadery projects

Art – either digital or free-hand or a combination of both

learning a musical instrument or relearning one you already know and like

Gaming – either board games like Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, etc. or computer-based

Look around on etsy and see what there you think you’d like to try making and/or selling

Hiking, swimming, rafting, tennis or any other sport or outdoor activity

personally?  I make dreamcathers every so often, I sew (costumes, toys, etc for my two munchkins), I’ve started enjoying making ribbon roses and other flowers, I do digital artwork, I write fantasy novels (still trying to edit them and get published…), I game (both Dungeons & Dragons as well as computer games), I’ve begun falling in love with making coasters using my own artwork.

My Fiance plays the guitar, acts in indy films, directs indy films, writes, produces films, does photography, and writes.  amongst other stuff.

Mostly cooking.  I make a lot of the same recipes I grew up with, but I also like to cook or bake stuff I see on Food Network, etc.  It’s so much fun and also a stress reliever for me.  Plus, I love it when others enjoy what I make for them.

I guess I like the crafty hobbies.  Love to cook, chocolate making, baking, jewelry making, re-styling furniture.  I love to pick up new crafts, and make different christmas presents every year.  One year was homemade soap, another year was chocolate baskets, another was vintage-style hostess aprons, and another was 4 ft jewelry cabinet painted with a butterfly garden scene for my mom.  Probably won’t have time this year for handmade gifts because I am hand-making so much for the wedding.

I love doing crafty things. I paint, recently started my own etsy where I will be doing handmade paper products, and this week I decided to take up soap making! I also run (10 mile race this coming Saturday!) – one day maybe I’ll get up to a full marathon but I ran my first half marathon last fall.

I like doing crafty things. I love making quilts and I like taking on home decor DIY projects (pillows, headboards, drapes, etc etc). I am also really into photography. Thats about all I have time for, but when I have bigger breaks (vacation) I really like to read. I can’t really read for pleasure in my normal life because I get so caught up in books that I start to shirk my other responsibilities. I’ve been known to take a particularly good book INTO the movies with me. ridic. lol..

Sewing, photography, cooking, crafty things (like making my own birthday, etc. cards) I like to really challenge myself by cooking or baking crazy things I’ve never done before. A good place to start with finding a hobby you really enjoy is your county parks department.  At mine they offer classes all year round and I’ve taken all kinds of fun things that sparked my interest, cooking, cake decorating, all different types of photography and photo editing classes. It is also a good place to meet new people.

I really love cooking (and eating).  If you like cooking, get a great cookbook (like Julia Child’s) and cook your way through it!

My other hobbies are graphic design, website design, yoga, golf, and reading.

I enjoy baking and crocheting.  Unfortunately I haven’t been too involved with either as much as I’d like to.  I’ve been wanting to take crochet lessons so I can learn more advanced techniques.

I saw that CorgiTales mentioned making quilts, which is really cool.  My husband’s grandmother has made a lot of quilts and will be able to pass them down through the family. I’d really like to learn how to make quilts myself one day.

When I was younger, I loved origami, reading, and making friendship bracelets.

Websites, blogging, our dog, kickboxing, cooking, and reading.

I would like to craft jewelry but I don’t even know where to begin with that.
