I don’t use foundation or powder and bounce around between concealers, mascaras, blushes, and bronzers, but these products are all staples for me.

RMS Living Luminizer

Sania’s Brow Bar eyebrow pencil (the lady who developed this does my eyebrows and she and the pencil are both amazing)

NARS Pigalle lipstick

YSL Kiss n’ Blush in Rouge Effrontee

Dior Creme Abricot nail/cuticle cream

MAC 217 eyeshadow brush

Stila liquid liner

I love these threads! My makeup routine:

Moisturizer: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream — so nice and light, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly.

Primer: Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch — sometimes I just wear this alone on days when I don’t wear makeup. If I could only keep one item, it’d be this. It’s pricey, but worth every penny.

Foundation: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua — I just wear a light layer to even up my skintone a bit (my cheeks can get rather flushed) and I love this because it lets my freckles show through. I don’t have that many of them, but I adore the little guys I have! ๐Ÿ™‚ oh and I apply with a Beauty Blender (or if that’s dirty, my Shiseido Foundation Brush). It look me awhile to get the hang of the BB, but now that I’ve got it down, it’s great.

Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder — doesn’t look at all cakey/heavy.

Bronzer: Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil — not too dark, but really I just love the smell.

Eyeshadow: MAC Satin Taupe — goes really well with my brown eyes. I like Sable too.

Mascara: L’Oreal Voluminous — Cheap and awesome.

Setting Spray: Urban Decay De-slick — best shit ever. Keeps everything in place all day/night. My T-zone gets pretty oily over the course of the day, so I prefer this one to the All Nighter.

Lips: Dior Lip Glow — Gives me a hint of natural rosy color, which is all I want.

I’ve been on the hunt for a nice pencil eyeliner since my HG was discontinued awhile back. I tried using liquid but I hate it on me, it looks TOO perfect. I like a bit of smudge.

Only sometimes wear blush since my cheeks are pretty flushed as it is. Don’t really have an HG, but I got a deluxe Tarte sample in Exposed that I really like. Have never worn concealer, used any highlighters, or done anything to my brows.

Whew.

I agree with babygrandmabee about Monistat being a good primer! Almost the same as the Porefessional! I have a mix of high end/drugstore, since I am a bit of a makeup junkie, so I’ll name them that way.

Foundation- Bare minerals matte powder/Milani Conceal and Perfect.

Concealer- Make Up For Ever HD Concealer/Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

Concealer setting powder- Bareminerals Powder Concealer/Wet & Wild ColorIcon Bronzer in Reserve your Cabana (so not a Bronzer, great dupe for Laura Mercier)

Eyebrows- Anastacia Brow Wiz/NYX Tame and Frame

Primer for eyes- UD Primer/Wet and Wild Primer

Blush- Mac Petal Power/Milani Romantic Rose

Lips- Smashbox Be Legendary / Loreal Colorstay Ultimate Suede

Mascara- Better than Sex/Essence Lash Princess

Eyeshadow- Too Faced Stardust and UD Naked Pallette / Makeup Revolution Neutrals vs. Neutrals

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Bronzed! I used to use Benefit Hoola, but I have a warmer skin tone and the UD just looks better on me!

I use Estée Lauder Double Wear when I go “out”, but in these summer months I love Almay Smart Shade which is light coverage, SPF and moisturizing without making me look greasy.

Maybelline Age Rewind concealer

Benefit They’re Real mascara

Benefit Porefessional

Cover FX Matte Setting Powder

NYX brow pencil (the one that’s kind of a dupe of Anastasia Brow Wiz)

Loreal Infallible setting spray

Body Shop lip butters

Blush is something I’m still searching for a holy grail for… I like the Almay ones, I have Smashbox Chiffon now which I also like – but none I LOVE

ladyvictoria:  CORRECTION — it is the Boots No 7 powder that I love, not the NYX!  I have tried a good number of NYX brand things so I got things confused haha.

ljm308:  I may have to give it a try then! I’m usually hesitant about experimenting with new brands because I don’t want to deal with a breakout when my skin seems to be on track, but your input helps!

This is SO FUN! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wash: Purpose face wash (great for removing make-up and doesn’t burn your eyes)
Make-up remover: Handss Down Neutrogena, wither the wipes or the liquid.
Foundation: L’oreal True match. I used to use Urban Decay Naked for like $60 a bottle but realized L’oreal is MUCh cheaper and just as good IMO
Powder: Setting powder, i like the translucent ones (not tinted, bright white color) I use a really cheap brand from Ulta Essie?? I think thats what it is.
Bronzer: Two-faced is amazing!! And Ulta brand bronzers are great and much cheaper!
Eye brow: Anastacia powder and slanted eye brown brush. Gives me GREAT brows ๐Ÿ™‚
Eye shadow: The original Naked palette. Always loved, always will. The only eye-shadow palette i will ever need!
Eye-liner: Smashbox liquid pen or L’oreal pen for a cheaper alternative.
Pencil eyeliner: MAC Smolder. Yes the kim k one is awesome!!
Mascara: Anything L’oreal ๐Ÿ™‚
Lips: I dont usually wear it unless i go out or wedding/party but any MAC lipstick or L’oreal. My favorite MAC is Velvet Teddy. My favorite L’oreal is Divine Wine. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

The only HG I have is Bareminerals mascara Lash Domination. It’s expensive though so I bounce between that and random drugstore mascaras.

CarribeanBridetoBe:  It’s great! I apply it wiith the Laura Mercier Velour Puff. A little goes a long way, I’ve been working on the same jar for at least a year now.

mermaidlagoon:  I have that one and it is a very good mascara. Have you tried the new Covergirl Super Sizer? It is a great alternative to that one.
