So I fell in love with this dress and I have never seen it on an actually person or in an actually store which makes me wonder if my taste is hideous or what? Can you ladies give me your honest opinion of this dress and I also posted a picture of my figure (best one I had hopefully it kinda shows) and whether you think it would work for me or not.
I know this is probably a silly post but I’m really nervous to take the plunge and order something that I’m so weary about. Also can you tell me how ordering dresses to try on works? Like say I wanted to try it and I can’t find it anywhere in my state? Are there options?

I really really like it! it’s vintage, elegant, original. I think it would totally work with your figure but I guess you never really know until you try it on! (gorgeous pic by the way 🙂 )

You want honest opinions? ok. I love the silhouette, love a good ballgown! But I don’t like how low down the main part of the bodice is, and how high up the lace part is. I also don’t like the low cut back. There are nicer ballgowns out there.

@ohhbitty: I think the dress is beautiful and will flatter your waist. Your boobs are definitely bigger than the models, though, so it will look different up top. I personally think it might look better with some clevage, but just be prepared for that.

I think it is a gorgeous dress and cap sleeves don’t look good on 95% of women, but I think they would look great on you! 🙂

I love the way it looks! However, I am a horrible judge on how it would look on your body.

@HeartsandSparkles: I actually have pretty thick arms, which makes me nervous.
@MexiPino: I didn’t even think about my boobs..omg! they will totally look different.. which is funny because I’m a bra specialist at Victoria’s Secret! lmaoo
@Jacqui90: See thats why I fell in love is because I am a low-back kinda gal! So many of my shirts are low-back. I loveeee that.
@HappinessIsInDaisies: thank you!<3
@geekychinchilla: Thank you! <3
Still though, can anyone walk me through the process of having a store order a dress just to try? Like is that possible?

I love the photos (and you’re super gorgeous, too), but I found that the dresses I liked in pictures did not match what I liked in person. My advice would to be try that dress on or similar dresses on before taking the plunge. Good luck!

@ohhbitty: From your picture you posted, you are tiny!! I bet you can rock that dress!! I would def recommend trying it on somewhere first though. I would call the designer to find the closest dress or ask them about shipping you a sample to try on. Good luck, I am sure whatever dress you pick will be lovely!!

@fluffernutter38: I thought that in the back of my head from 1000’s of episodes of SYTTD but didnt know if this happened to a lot of women.. when I look at it though..I just can’t see it not being for me…
@HeartsandSparkles: I have boobs and hips and arms. I’m definitely not big but I have a womens body lol which makes me nervous because this girl is clearly less than 100 lbs and flat chested! I never thought of calling the designer for a sample.. Makes me nervous but I think it would be worth it. Good suggestions.
Thank you ladies <3

@HappinessIsInDaisies: Do you know roughly how much the average charge is? like 20% of dress or something?
