We have a cat and a tortoise. Our cat doesn’t really have a nickname, nothing that’s really stuck anyway! We call our tortoise “the baby” though as he’s so small and adorable. I have a feeling he’s always going to be called “the baby” even when he’s 50 years old and bigger haha.

Dog’s name is Maggie, which turns into Raggy when she is dirty or needs a haircut, and Waggie when she is excited.

We call our lab /Australian Shepard mix Lexi-potamus because she stomps around and sounds like a hippo. She loves to “walk with a purpose”

Our Doxie pin (Doxie min pin mix) snoogle bear or Oogles because he’s obsessed with people. He will follow you everywhere until you suggle with him. It’s pretty adorable. My husband jokes that I can’t hide anywhere because you can just look for him and you’ll find me.

Our dog’s name is MJ. We frequently call her Emmers, which turns into Emmerson, wich logically turns into Ralph Waldo.  She responds to all of them equally well!

FMIL’s dog, Dobby, is a cockapoo (cocker spaniel toy poodle mix) and we either call him satan spawn or DOBBY NO! because it seems like any time we use his name it is quickly followed with “NOOO!”

We call my sister’s dog Pudge because she has a thyroid problem and is quite pudgy.

I have a mini shih tzu, Georgie, and a standard shih tzu, Loki. Usual nicknames are Georgie porgie, Loki poki, love nugget, chunk, chunk nugget, fur nugget. But when Loki is bad, he’s the only bad one of the two… (imagine that for a dog named Loki, Ha) stupid shit, little shit, shit head. We joke that he thinks his name is Lokino, because I’m always telling him “Loki No!”
