@blessings:  My Maid/Matron of Honor is most likely going to plan a girls weekend to Atlantic City for some debauchery including clubbing and strippers! I kind of want a wild night out, but I know a lot of other girls opt for spa days, or comedy shows, etc.

The theme for my bachelorette party is little black dresses and wigs (and a night out on the town)

I had also thought about doing an 80s theme night out or a big girly slumber party.  Actually, I’m kinda hoping our girls night out turns into a slumber party anyway πŸ™‚

I have an odd feeling my bachelorette party will be a whole mess of payback for all of the things I did to/for my bridesmaids on their bachelorette parties (I’m the last to wed). I don’t know what they plan to do but I’m sure it’ll involve an inflatable sheep/penis, an old man stripper, a mechanical bull and an avacado (don’t ask).

I’m actually a little nervous– really nervous…scared is more like it.

But hey, YOWO– you only wed once. Live it up. Find a place you’ve always wanted to visit and make a fool of yourself. I’d probably have a talk with the Fiance to find out what’s okay and what isn’t (are strippers okay? Is he alright with bar games–some of those can get a little rauchy).

Other bachelorette parties I’ve seen that don’t involve hanging your underwear on a CVS sign are: Camping trips, adventure parties– with stuff like rock climbing, ziplining and then a spa day afterwards, a lot of those pole dancing places will rent out the studio for an evening and provide private lessons for you and your girls. Something that you won’t be able to do or would feel guilty doing once you’re married.

I’m not planning mine, yet – but I just planned my friends.

We are getting a party bus and having a lingerie shower on it.  Since I feel like I’m the Maid/Matron of Honor and I should be hosting this, I bought gift bags that I’m going to put scented satchels (http://www.etsy.com/listing/94192502/buy-any-4-aroma-bead-sachets-and-get-1), an eyeliner, lip gloss and a nail polish from eyeslipsface.com, chocolate penises, a penis straw, and I think that’s it.

I bought the bride a veil with flashing penises going down the back, a sash, and a giant dick sipper cup.  Oh, and a life size blow up doll with an 8″ penis who is naked and pink fluffy handcuffs – he’s going to be handcuffed to her all night until she gets him fully dressed.  It’s going to be epic.

I told everyone to bring their fave bottle of liquor to the party bus and I will get a playlist ready on my ipod.  We also got a penis cake that says “to have and to hold, the best is yet to cum” – and there’s a hand holding the penis LOL and of course I got us some really cute pink and lace printed bachelorette party plates for the cake.

The party bus is going to take us into the city (NYC – bride lives in NY) and to a comedy club there for an hour long improv show and then to a heated rooftop bar for the rest of the night.  The party bus is gone after it drops us ladies off at the rooftop bar. They have a kitchen open til midnight in case anyone gets hungry.

We were going to get a hotel room – I thought it would be fun to top the night off with Magic Mike at the hotel – but it seems like it would be really expensive and we don’t have enough girls to make it worthwhile.  Boo.

Sometimes the most fun is the company and we have about 10-12 girls total who RSVPed so far.  Basically, as long as you have your friends there, I’m sure you will all have a blast.

I sent really cute invites through paperlesspost.com – you have to get coins though by referring people and then you send an invite through email, they click it and it says their name on the envelope, and then they open the envelope and the invite is in there!  It’s like a real invite, only virtual.  It’s super cute, I really recommend the site and you can track when they’ve opened it and RSVPed, etc.

I already linked you to the frangranced satchels I bought and the ELF makeup – the cake and penis chocolates are all being made by the same baker – and finally most of the stuff I got was from bachelorettesuperstore.com and I used the code WELCOME to get 10% off and if you spend $50, you get free shipping.

Ok that was a LOT of info – hope it helps!!

I want my theme to be retro vintage! I gave my girls a list of interests: italian restaurants, wine tour, live band entertainment around local pubs, and a little dancing and drinks! However, it’s going to be a suprise! πŸ™‚

My BMs have planned a weekend in Brisbane. Shopping, getting pampered and dinner the first night and then a 4 hour cruise along the river the second night. The cruise is called wild boys afloat and it has strippers, male waitresses, buffet dinner, complimentary beer and wine and a dj. And after that we will probably check out the clubs.

We are having cocktails and appetizers at my parents house with 12 girls and any moms that want to join! Then at 9pm a limo is coming to pick up the 12 girls and I and we are going out for a night on the town! πŸ™‚

I pretty much decided to hand over complete control to my MoH after it became clear that I couldn’t be trusted to not micromanage and overplan if given any say.

All I know that’s happening is stuff I have planned for just the bridal party beforehand — getting henna done and having some sort of activity (I let the MoH takeover here — it’ll either be belly dancing classes, flying trapeze classes, or something of the like).

All I know is we’re getting a hotel room for out-of-towners to stay at after hitting some dance clubs for the night. MoH has something up her sleeve, but she’s being tantalizingly vague.

@blessings:  We are going for a girls weekend up to the Finger Lake Wine Trails (in Upstate NY) and getting a limo to go around to all of the wineries!  I can’t wait.  πŸ™‚

I have no idea what we’re doing.  All I know is the day and that we’re going to dinner so far.  I scheduled my hair and makeup trial for the same day so that I at least look awesome for it, lol.  My Maid/Matron of Honor asked me what I wanted to do months ago and I just said a nice dinner and maybe going to a dueling piano bar afterwards for drinks and music.  She is pregnant, so I didn’t want to go wild and crazy so that she would be able to enjoy it as well.  :-p

BAH! I’m so excited…

First, I’m having a small bachelorette party up in Philly in April when I’m there for my shower, which will be fun bc all of my BM’s and high school and college gals will be there.

But also, my Southern gals (including my one local BM) and I are going to Savannah for 4 days over Memorial Weekend and renting a house in the Historic District, which is walking distance to all the bars and restaurants, and a short drive to da beach!

Uh…I have no idea. I know it’s being planned. I requested no penises, nothing crazy, and at least a little while when my 16 year old Future Sister-In-Law could join.
