We will be TTC either this spring/summer or next spring depending on what happens for me professionally next year, which I’ll find out next week actually! (very exciting news). Anyway I talked to my Dr who had me checked for various vaccinations to make sure I’m good to go for TTC. I will go to the dentist before TTC as well. Also, I am taking vitamins every day and folic acid.. was taking prenatals but recently bought gummy vites so now just adding a folic acid pill.. will go back to prenatals in the 3 months before we start TTC. Also, I am trying to get back to my pre-wedding weight or even below it before we TTC, and trying to get in shape/strengthen my abs/back.

I would suggest taking a nice adult vacation!!!!!!

I took vitamin B, folic acid and tried as best as possible to get into an exercise routine.

Have fun!

I went off the pill and started charting again.   Am taking the 4mg of folic acid again, like I did when I was pregnant with my son.  (My sister had a cleft lip)  I started exercising again.   That’s about it, we’ll be TTC as soon as we’re married.

I’ve been off BC for 6 months now.  I’m have already started to take a daily vitamin.

I’ve been going back to the gym.  Someone suggested going back to the dentist to get all dental work done.  That’s a good idea.

The last big thing is starting to become a better parent/ mom now.  I’ve been a bit lax on the weekends and not very active so I’m taking the next 6 months or so to become a good mom and being more active with getting things done around the house.  I’m really motivated about doing this.

I am starting to go back to church more regularly.  Me and Darling Husband said that we would like have our children brought  up with some sort of religion and I would like to become better christians before having kids.  I can’t really tell our kids to be a good christian if we don’t go to church regularly.

We do have a baby bucket list that we would like to get most of the things off the list by the time we start TTC at the end of this summer.

Lastly, trying to enjoy life together right now.  I know I’ve been a bit obsessed with baby fever and so I finally got most of that out of my system and now just working on being a better person now because I know when we have a kid, it will be crazy.

Getting travel out of the way isn’t really something I’m concerned about.  We would love to go to the Caribbean or a trip to England but I think those can all be possible with a baby or even possible letting my sister babysit our kid while we are gone.

Quitting the birth control and starting a pre-natal vitamin are my only plans. I already eat well and exercise regularly and consider myself a pretty healthy person.

Is everyone quitting th epill far in advance? My doc told me to keep taking it up until the last minute before TTC. She said it is out of my system as soon as I stop taking it.

We’re going to officially start trying cycle after next (week before the wedding.  I figure the wedding and honeymoon will be a PERFECT distraction during the first real TWW).  Only thing I’m doing is taking folic acid.  I eat healthy and exercise regularly anyway.

I’m already pregnant and I didn’t understand the dentist thing before because I’ve never had any cavities or gingivitis or anything but I’d say go before you get pregnant and make sure to floss/brush your gums regularly to get them super healthy because they are prone to irritation and bleeding during pregnancy.

I had a full physical and blood work-up to make sure there were no issues with which I should be concerned.

And took a two-week dream vacation!
