VACATION TO NIAGARA!!!!  Laughing

LOL. No seriously… I am having a wedding because I am without a doubt marrying my best friend for life. I am so excited to go to Niagara with a small group of our closest family and friends and just have a relaxing weekend while we become a family joined. It will be very low key low stress. I think everyone tailors their day to what will make them feel happy and to celebrate according to their likings.

Because we want to celebrate with friends and family. To have a big ol’ party/get together/fun night with great food. I get to wear something fancy and girlie (big plus) and I get to see Fiance in a proper fitting tux (super excited about this).

@Lady Baker:  Same here.  We’re super excited to ‘officially’ begin the rest of our lives together, and we want to celebrate that with the ones we love (and the ones my parents’ are making us invite).

Cause we want to. I struggled with this desicion to the point I told him we should elope, he looked me in the eye and told me this was only gonna happen once and if in 10yrs I wouldn’t regret not having a wedding we’d elope. It helped that he told me he wants it too.

Because I live my life never celebrating my accomplishments and milestones and I wasn’t going to do that on the day I marry my best friend.  I want to celebrate with friends and family, wear a fabulous dress, eat great food, treat myself and my new husband really well and just DO US for once….before the kiddies come. I go through this all the time.

Because I’m going to be marrying the man of my dreams, and I want ALL our family and friends there celebrating with us, and I want everyone to have an awesome time! Our biggest expenses are food/booze, music, and photography. I know Fiance, and our familes feel the same way. Weddings are one of the rare occassions that our families get together, and I wouldn’t want to regret not doing that.

I thought I would elope or have a very small wedding, but then I started to realize how neat it would be to have all of our close friends and family together in one room.  Won’t happen very often so I thought I should make a big party out of it.

Why not? 🙂 We want to bring everyone together to celebrate.

@Natalieh86: Yep, exactly! I got a preview of that at my shower and it was pretty amazing.
