@busybee3791:  It has the appearance of a cushion brilliant (which is NOT crushed ice….personally I hate crushed ice!!!) so it’s a modern cushion and not antique/chunky cushion.

I do sometimes wish I chose a round and not a radiant. It still bothers me some days ๐Ÿ™

a number of people have said to me it suits your because your hands are tiny.. not sure what they are trying to say to me I take it as them saying my ring is small.. its .55 but I went with quality over size is almost almost a perfect stone.

Like the OP – I also get that mine’s “unique”.  So I worry people really think it’s ugly.  The Fiance and I both fell in love with it, so that doesn’t actually change my mind – but I feel a little down when that descriptor is used.

I also adore my e-ring but I think I’ve fallen out of love with it’s matching wedding band that it comes with.  I’m really not that blingy a person.

Sometimes I get insecure that my band is too thick for my hands. And of course I wish the center stone was just a little bigger. center is 1.01 carat and the whole thing is 2 (said the jeweler who sold it to us)

Sometimes I wish I went with a round vs cusion as I didn’t realize how they face up smaller. I also sometimes think a round would look better on my hand. And, given the area where I live, I sometimes wish it was bigger

My diamond is an heirloom and sometimes I wish it wasn’t because I feel like my fiancee’s mom will forever remind us that it is really hers…Any time there is an argument she brings it up and makes it sound like we don’t appreciate her or the diamond.
