I am flying to NM to see Darling Husband for a week, then we are roadtripping back to StL and he is going to spend another week here.

Haha I work in an office, so no spring break for me…. But I’m taking one anyways!!!! My Maid/Matron of Honor is in her last year of med school so we’re taking a cruise right after Match Day. I’ve never been on a cruise before and I am SOOOO excited!

I wish we could take a spring break! However, if we want to do anything else later in the year I have to save and hoard my vacation time

Like every year since… ever, we will probably be doing nothing but working. Mr. hedgie tried to surprise me one year with a random hot air baloon ride until he saw how much it costs. I hate being a college kid, in my senior year, doing NOTHING but working for Spring Break. Can’t I have the sterotypical college experience just once?

@MissHoneyBun: Santa Fe is 3 hours from my hometown.  I have to say, as many times as I have driven through there, I have never really experienced the “real” Santa Fe.  I hear it’s wonderful.

As for my springbreak plans…I haven’t had those since I graduated from college 7 years ago ๐Ÿ™  However, beings the hubs is going back to school next fall, maybe I can pretend I have one again??? lol

Instead of the dance workshop we usually go to in Houston, his parents are coming up for College Game Day (or whatever it’s called, I just want to see my Man Bears beat the Longhorns) and I’ll spend the rest of the week writing papers, finishing the cake topper, and starting the card box. And sleep, lots and lots and lots of sleep.

I’m going to enjoy this break- I’ve been barely functional so far this week, so much so that my friend said if she didn’t know better she thought was I on something.

I have this week off from nursing school, so I’m just relaxing and working extra hours.

I graduated last year but my fiance’s spring break is next week.  We’re getting married Sunday then going to Savannah until Friday. Smile
