Have you tried it on? Usually it’ll “feel” too frilly when you’re wearing it, if that’s the case. Dresses I find, are more about feelings than looks a lot of the time.

I love it and think its a gorgeous dress – if that is the traditional vibe that you are going for. It you are wanting to look contemporary then I’d say its not the dress.

Well, I don’t see a single frill, only lace! So no it’s not too frilly… the skirt is kind of huge but you can just take out the under layers or crinoline and the dress will look much more ‘toned down’. As for whether it’s your style though, only you can know!

It’s gorgeous but impossible to say if it’s too frilly without knowing you or your tastes or what your wedding will be like. A pink dress is only “too” pink if you don’t want a really pink dress, you know? The same pink dress could be either too pink or not pink enough depending on who’s wearing it. Same with frills. I guess it could be considered too fancy if you’re just having a casual BBQ/potluck wedding? But objectively the dress is beautiful, it looks very classic and traditional to me – it makes me think of Audrey Hepburn.

I love the shape, try it on and see what it feels like when you look in the mirror.

try it on. There’s probably a crinoline hoop skirt underneath to poof it out so it has a wider shape. The lace on the bottom is amazing. I’m not a fan of the top part, but then I’m not a fan of too much lace.

It’s beautiful. Provided you have the right venue (not field trudging!) it will be spectacular.
