Well i haven’t made the financial investment yet, but I have heard amazing things from several sources about the clarisonic skin care system. Users report that they initially break out more when using it because the brush brings all the gunk to the surface, but after about a month, they saw much clearer smoother skin.

I can’t wait till I can get one! (Wow I just sounded like some paid advertisement, lame)

There is also a website called http://www.biocutis.com/store/ I just invested in some of their skin care products. Apparently their products are made from natural ingredients, and they are good for getting rid of acne, scars, etc. They have this stuff called BIOSKINEXFOL, it’s an at home microdermabrasion cream. Let me tell you, it’s awesome! The first time i used it, I felt like I just walked out of the dermatologists office. Their products have really made a difference in the way my skin looks and feels. They are a little pricey, but they last for a long while, and it’s still cheaper than going to the Dermatologist.

I am totally going to second the rubbing alcohol advice!

I usually use alcohol swabs right before bed and it’s done wonders for clearing up my skin!

When I did my makeup trial for the wedding, the artist suggested I use cetaphil. I will NEVER go back to regular soap again. I haven’t had any yuckiness on my face since I started using it. Now, its a little pricey (for my taste). One bar of the stuff is like $6 but it absolutely works.

For the big red deep ones, I swear by Zeno.  It’s not cheap but it lasts a long time and works well for me on those breakouts that are so deep and painful and don’t dry out with acne products.

I had to find out the hard way. I was washing my face and using acne products WAY too much. I switched to a bar of soap in the morning in the shower and my skin is clear.

One of the hardest thing is to not touch or pick at zits. Sometimes I pop a zit but I use a blackhead and whitehead extractor. I know that for my skin exfoliation is key. I have a facial buffer from the body shop that I use every night (with clinique mild liquid soap) and I also use Mendalic acid to speed up the exfolition process.
