Still have to:

Start deciding on everyone’s gifts for helping out

Ready invitations, they’re being delivered today *yayyy!*

I think that’s about it for me!  I have a shower this month too – it’s getting so close!

I keep having nightmares that its my wedding day, but my dress isn’t ready. I want to get it taken care of so badly, but my tailor won’t do it until at least November. YUCK!

I still need to:

Book florist

Book Justice of the Peace

Makeup/nails appointment

Mail invites

Make dress for my Maid/Matron of Honor

Find a place to order my macarons!

Get wedding license

I’m sure there will be more things, but those are the biggies.

I still have to:

-Have any alterations done on my dress, if any. I bought it off the rack because it fit me perfectly.

-Finalize Dinner menu

-Address and send invites

-Decide on what we want our mothers to make for our Rehearsal Dinner

-Order flowers for girls’ bouquets about 10 days before wedding (I am doing DIY bouquets)

-Marriage License

-I have two showers, one on Oct 28 and another on Nov 10

-Hair trial

-Decide what kind of alcohol to have at the reception as well as any late night appetizers

-Finalize wedding cake ideas

We have pretty much everything else under control. We have our rings picked out and ordered, my bridal accessories bought, Groomsmen and usher apparel is picked out and most have been fitted, Bridesmaids have all ordered their dresses (most have them already), We have the reception hall and church booked, our officiant and pianist booked, our marriage class is scheduled, I have almost all of the decorations bought, Our honeymoon is booked, Hair appointment for the day of is booked, transportation arrangements for the day of are made, I have the day of “Timeline” made, Bridesmaid gifts are all done.

I feel like I have accomplished so much, but I still get a little bit of anxiety since the day is approaching so quickly!

My wedding is on 01.05.2013… had a dream that other night that it was tomorrow. FREAKED OUT, but we went through with it anyway even though nothing major was done! And the dream was still pleasant, so I know the real day will be even more so ๐Ÿ™‚

Finished: purchased dress, booked ceremony & reception venues, chosen colors (red and dark teal!), chosen caterer (menu isn’t finalized though), assigned wedding party (except ushers), booked officiant, completed pre-martial counseling, sent Save-The-Date Cards, purchased wedding bands

Started: talking to photographers (deciding between two), ideas for reception decor (maybe 60% conceived), designing invitations (almost ready to print), talking to musicians, guest list (is it ever really finalized? ugh), hair and makeup ideas

Need to do: find bridesmaid dresses (!!!! – we had to fire the seamstress last week, so starting over on that one!), design and order cake, figure out and order what the men are wearing, think about wedding party gifts,  dress alterations, design programs, marraige lisence, transportation, honeymoon plans.

Most of the big things I have been talking to people, but haven’t actually asked anyone to commit. So that will hopefully be in writing soon! Bridesmaid dresses are my real concern right now – can’t order them from bridal salons because they say they’ll take approx 12 weeks to come in, and my wedding is in 13 weeks! After that, printing and addressing the invitations.
