I don’t have specific songs I listen to, but anything with a good beat and bass will do. I know the genre isn’t for everyone, but any EDM/ Dance track is a great motivator for me to work harder.

MsGinkgo:  For working out only:

  1. Taylor Swift “Style”
  2. Taylor Swift “Shake it off”
  3. Meghan Trainor “All about that bass”
  4. David Guetta and Sia “Titanium”
  5. David Guetta and Usher “Without you”

Those are loud and bouncy enough for me to keep going.

This is embarrassing: all my workout songs are Fall Out Boy. I particularly like their latest two albums for the elliptical and punching/kicking the heavy bag because the rage makes me work harder. I also like to play a game I call “How Long Can I Plank While This Song Is Playing”

So, here’s my entirely Fall Out Boy workout list:

– The Phoenix

– Novocaine

– Rat A Tat

– Snitches and Talkers Get Stitches and Walkers

– My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)

– The Mighty Fall

– Centuries (note: there is a reason it is the college football song right now)

– Alpha Dog

– All of PAX AM Days.

Aaaaand bonus solo Patrick Stump:

– Explode

– Run Dry (X Heart X Fingers)/Cryptozoology (note: because this one is 8 and a half minutes long, it works really well for “How Long Can I Plank While This Song Is Playing”)

– Greed

– Porcelain

– Love, Selfish Love

– As Long As I Know I’m Getting Paid

Do you have spotify? they have a bunch of workout playlists – I use one called “Cardio” a lot. It updates regularly so new songs are added.

I also listen to avKorean pop playlist. Haha it sounds SO WEIRD but they have the BEST beats and I really don’t care what they are saying since it’s the beat and music that keeps me going.
