We already had our valentine’s day dinner two weeks ago–we didn’t want to try to beat the valentine’s day crush. We are, however, going to watch John Wick 2. I was one of the few of my friends who loved that movie before it became such an unexpected hit.

Valentine’s Day falls on Taco Tuesday so we’re going to our favorite Mexican food restaraunt that makes amazing margaritas. We’ve really been cutting back on eating out lately so this is an exciting treat for us (which is sad, but whatever haha).

We have a reservation at one of our favorite restaurants! We don’t do presents or anything, just dinner and I’ll have a martini 🙂

We like to keep it low key.

I don’t think we have plans. We usually do something on the weekend rather than the real day because we hate crowds. But this weekend we have plans to hang out/spend the night with friends and have a game night, which is fun but not romantic. It is in the city we got engaged and married in, so maybe I’ll suggest we stop at our engagement spot on the way home and have dinner by the ocean.

We are going to Hawaii next week! Beyond that, I have no idea.

I’m not sure if we have plans or not!  Since VDay is on a school night, we will probably do a nice dinner on the weekend. And maybe have a lunch date on Tues

Not sure what our plans are since it’s on a weekday but i’m excited because it’s our first V-Day together and i’m sure it will be lovely.

We have reservations for a 4-course tasting menu at an Italian restaurant downtown, and then we’re seeing a play. I love celebrating!

Last year I was out of town for work. The year before that I went with two of my girlfriends to see 50 Shades of Gray and out to dinner. Our DH’s are all in the same profession and usually out of town on Valentines.

This year Darling Husband will be out of town again so I’ll likely just hang out at home.

My husband will both be at work. He did tell me that after work we will be going out, but it is a surprise. Also I am a new owner of a Chevy and Chevrolet sent me two free tickets to the Chicago Auto Show, so that’s where we will be on Friday the 17th. Something guy related for him to do from me via Chevy lol

Our weekly ballroom class falls on the 14th, so that will be nice. Might have a cheeky drink together in one of the local bars after 😊

Fiance cooked me dinner (he has only cooked for me twice before). I also mentioned I wanted grocery store flowers a week ago, and he remembered to get me a bouquet! I was ecstatic (was not expecting him to remember at all). It was a nice, intimate Valentine’s.

Darling Husband isn’t into Valentine’s Day so we won’t be doing anything. I, however, will dress up my baby in her adorable heart footie pajamas, eat heart shaped cookies, and binge watch Season 2 of Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Then call up my bestie and fangirl over it.
