We’re having one flavor for all our guests. It will be apple cake with pumpkin mousse. There is a little bakery in our town that does the most beautiful cakes for such a reasonable price. We’re so excited!

We did a chocolate mousse cake with white chocolate buttercream icing.

Multiple guests said it was the best cake they ever tasted!!!

We are having a three tier cake.  The top tier is carrot cake with a cream cheese filling, the middle tier is maple syrup infused cake (made with syrup Fiance got this year from the sugar bush!) with vanilla and maple infused icing and our third tier is a tie.  We might have caramel apple cake (white cake with caramel and apples throughout with a caaramelly filling) or possibly something like a vanilla cake with chocolate icing … or a skor type.  We’re a bit stuck haha

We’re doing a 3 tier cake with 2 flavors. The top and bottom tiers will be strawberry cake with strawberry filling. The middle tier will be red velvet with vanilla frosting (neither of us like cream cheese frosting.) We’re also gettin a half dozen all vanilla cupcakes for the kids and my future brother in law who can’t have chocolate or strawberries.

socalgirl1689:  Our cake will be very similar to yours! Two tiers, guests are having chocolate cake with a chocolate fudge and salted caramel filling, and the top tier is lemon with a raspberry and Bavarian custard filling. But there’s no way we’re waiting a year to eat it! I’m thinking we’ll enjoy it when we get back from our honeymoon ๐Ÿ™‚

socalgirl1689:  Yes that is our actual cake and the whole thing was edible.  My sister and I came up with the design and it was so stunning!

We are planning on having mini cupcakes in basic flavors for our guests (does that sound rude?). We aren’t big cake people but we are doing a small “smash” style cake for us, mostly for photos and what not. My Fiance and I really want to do a Bergamot/earl grey flavored cake, it’s our favorite!

Don’t see my flavor here,  I guess Fiance was right – it’s untraditional. ๐Ÿ™‚ We will have 2 tiers, both  Mille-feuille (Napoleon ) with vanilla custard and white chocolate frosting.  I’m considering adding coconut to the chocolate, but we haven’t decided yet.
