I just bought a goodlife membership through work. I am officially committed to a year of going to the gym. We get a decently good discount through work – it ends up being about 33 dollars a month, includes all fitness classes and I can go to any location. The catch? They make you pay the entire yearly fee at once and you can’t cancel it. At first I was put off by it…but in reality, it will make me go because I refuse to waste money. So I bit the bullet and did it. My plan is to go five days a week after work. I commute by train into the city and I despise fighting the crowds. I much prefer taking a later train and now I have something to do after work!
Anyone else work out five days a week? I don’t think I’ll be working out heavily every day – some days I’ll probably plop myself on a treadmill and just walk. But hey…better than nothing right? My goal was to lose 50 pounds. Lost 40, had some personal things go on/got lazy and gained 10 back. Now I’ve got 20 to lose to get to my goal and I’m hoping to shave off a good chunk of those pounds within the next three months.
What are everyone else’s weight loss goals?? If you’ve already reached your goal, how long did it take you?
