Sorry this is my 3rd thread in 24 hours, I guess I’m just bursting with ideas :-/ Lame.
I have been loving sardines lately (in mustard sauce or hot sauce!). No, I’m not pregnant. I ate them all the time as a kid, and now suddenly at 25 I feel like I need to stock up on them. They’re ideal for when Darling Husband goes to bed and I’m up late (I work nights, I’m always up late)…that way he doesn’t have to kiss me lol.
What cravings do you have that are generally considered “gross?”
Not necessarily a craving, but a food I like that my Darling Husband hates is grilled squid.

I’m not sure how weird it is, but I love tomato wedges dipped in sugar. Just good ol white sugar.

Willow90: mine is not a craving, its just something i like to eat but only do it if i have nothing in the house to make and thats a piece of sliced bread with mayo. Thats it, nothig else, just sliced bread with mayo. I think its weird but not gross. Lol

Banana and cheese on toast. Amazing.

Daizy914: I grew up doing that too! I got it from my grandpa who ate “mayonnaise sandwiches” all the time, he still does. The only thing better was adding spaghetti and meat sauce on top of the mayo, spaghetti sandwich. To this day, I like mayonnaise on my pasta and tomato sauce because of that (not the healthiest thing, so it’s only an occasional treat, haha).
I like a lot of “gross” foods. Pork rinds, potted meat, pickled sausages, stuff like that.

I love fried chicken dipped in mayonnaise. Yum!

Matzo crackers with butter.

Potato chips with ketchup – YUM!

I love cooking cup noodles properly then draining the broth and microwaving them until they are dehydrated again. They become weirdly stretchy, chewy, and delicious. I’ve been told this is gross but I cannot understand why.
I also think putting sugar on Jack in the Box tacos is the best thing ever but I have been told this is gross as well.

I love mayonnaise and anything creamy like tahini sauce/onion dip/ranch, etc. and love to put it on any food that I eat (although it’s pretty fattening!). My ultimate favs with mayo is: avocado, bread, rice, dumplings, french fries/baked potatoes, and chips. Delish!
Omg I am sssssooooo frickin’ hungry now!

jayebaby: I love noodles too! I always make my ramen noodles undercooked so that it has that bite texture to it instead being soft/mushy. 🙂
