babygoose02:  That is so funny. I’d say we have great taste by the sounds of it. We’re doing a small ceremony here in Canada for about 20 people then Fiance and I are off the New York for our elopement. That was my main motivation for getting that dress. The pictures alone will be stunning. I have to admit I think it is a touch big for our 20 person wedding but I didn’t want to by 2 dreses and you only get to wear a weddingdress once so I went big. Congrats on your wedding! We are in the final stretch. How many people will you be having?

missjz:  That sounds awesome!  We’re inviting about 140, but expecting closer to 120 or so since I have a lot of family from out of state.  We’re having our ceremony and reception in an Art studio.  I actually ended up getting two dresses.  I ordered one a few months ago, but was having dress regret and just kept looking back to the Gemma, so I ended up ordering that from Misdress.  It was such a good price I couldn’t resist.  We’re doing an after wedding photo session, so I’m hoping we’ll get a light snow in the week after Chritmas for some cool outdoor pictures.  I’m in Ohio so it could be a dry Christmas to a ice storm or blizzard, it’s a gamble!

babygoose02:  Oh thats so crazy you’re ordering from Misdress too. I was so curious about what the dress was going to look like. I went through all her reviews for the last month and messaged everyone who bought that exact dress from her to see if they had pictures. One girl got back to me and sent me photos and the dress is amazing. Its really an act of faith ordering something online that you’ve never tried on before. I’m very relieved to say the least. Here are the photos incase you’re even half as curious as I was. This girl said the dress fit really well but the fabric quality was a little lower but she expected that.

I’m having an Australian Winter wedding, so mine is in June. Our colours are charcoal and silver with lots of glass elements. No bridal party, but the colours will be reflected in the stationary and our own outfits, with my dress being iron grey and sparkly, and FI’s suit being charcoal.

My colors are white with some touches of silver & gray (and also some greenery). I wanted “non colors”.
