(Closed) What are/were your "rules" for choosing baby names?

his rule: cannot be a stripper name (which is vague, but whatever)

my rule: cannot remind me of someone i already know

 

we don’t really have many rules, but we do have one boy and one girl name already picked out.

@MrsSanchizel: I didn’t think of the Spanish connection EffieTrinket said, as I’m not American. To me, both ways read fine, but having A Spanish speaking neighbour might mean aea is the better choice?

Some of these rules are very detailed 😛 

Mine are similar to most of the PPs:
1. Simple to spell/pronounce.
2. Nothing that can be made fun of.  

FH and I even settled on 2 names for girls and 2 for boys 😉 hopefully we don’t forget until we actually have kids haha.

@MrsSanchizel:  Seriously, it’s the best. I admit, I read through the top 200 baby names from the 1920s. Almost all of my inspiration has come from there!
