I want to do a little clear plastic box with 2 french macarons, tied with a ribbon, on everyone’s plate. A few different flavors and colors. But if it’s too expensive, I might make my own oreo truffles on a stick (like a cake pop) for everyone, I could make the chocolate in our colors.

Since we’re on a tight budget and don’t have much time (I’m still in school), we wanted something that was cute and useful for our guests ! I found an amazing website that has cheap and super cute stuff! The favors come in a box with a ribbon or a bow and a thank you note. We’ll just have to add our names with the date to personalize them a bit ๐Ÿ™‚

I think Im gonna go with something like this, it’s 2,24 $ for one !

It’s either gonna be a screw or a wine stopper !

website is canadian though www.weddingfavours.ca

We did cake pops. Nice and easy, as they were made by the same company that did our cake.

Our favors were a creole spice mixture that we made ourselves. We had mild, hot or hotter! Seemed to be a hit.

We got these cute bride & groom favor boxes at the dollar store 10 pk for $1 and filled them with candy and had them at each place setting. Our theme was “Love is Sweet” soeach table was named after a candy and that determined what kind was in each box.

Not 100% sure yet but we’re having an afternoon tea reception and I’m considering sending guest home with a custom tea blend in velum bags with a cute sticker or ribbon or something on them. actually i’m pretty sure the gift will be tea just not sure how to present it yet.

Bibizab:  Very cute! I’m not usually a fan of edible favors, but I love the cotton candy idea!

We will be having a photobooth so the photostrips will be the main favors, but we also couldn’t resist a koozie and matchbooks as well. We’ll plan on only buying enough for the adults and rounding down if possible since apparently some people don’t care for koozies (I love them!).

So many creative ideas! Love the candy floss ๐Ÿ™‚ We did hand-made/small-batch French macarons in seasonal flavors with pearlescent finishes, from a local 1-woman bakery. They are known in our area because the owner lived and baked in Paris for many years and it’s the only thing she makes – most guests were Out of Town and the wedding was semi-destination, so it was a fun touch from our own locality. They were set above the chargers in clear cylinder containers with a custom made round sticker on top thanking guests in French + a subtle Fleur-de -Lis and our names/date. Our wedding had a few New Orleans/French touches to pull decor together (I had a really formal/elegant event and wasn’t looking for an overtly obvious “theme”).

we had a few different favors! we had a semi-destination wedding down in kentucky at my grandfather’s farm, so i chose a two local items, then a couple items for guest comfort. we didn’t have enough of each thing for everyone, because figured some people wouldn’t take any, and some would take more.

Handmade Goat’s Milk Soap from friend who owns a local farm. we wrapped them in burlap and my good friend who is a graphic designer created these little tags

maker’s mark minis. i designed little recipe tags in indesign and had them printed through cat print. i had 5 different types of whiskey cocktail with the recipes on the back. and also made for some sweet pictures.

fans. it was about a million degrees and these were a big hit. from bhldn

and about 30 pairs of flip flops from old navy, color coordinated by size!

we ordered the tree place card holders in black Friday from theknot.com. Saved us over half off.  I ordered the silver starfish from etsy,  and tied them on with the blue ribbon.   Guests can use them to hold photos after.
