@beautyofdreams:  I think a pave rose gold band would look awesome, but a white gold/platinum pave band would be pretty too.  You could do a plain band in either metal if you really want it to stand out from the ring.

@beautyofdreams:  That is one ring and not a solitare in a band?

I wouldn’t put anything with it.

I wouldn’t put another ring with it, personally. It doesn’t need it! If you’re doing it for sentimental reasons, I’d vote a pave rose gold band whose pave is similar in size to the e-ring.

I’d say a 2 mm rose gold band! It would be a lovely contrast to all the pave. I think another band of pave would just be too much.

Thank you everyone. My SO asked me if I would consider having just the ring and no band because all these bands on my finger looks a little over the top. This ring is just right on its own but im concerned about not having a wedding band. Is it common to go without one? What do you do on the wedding day when there is nothing to exchange? Could I wear my wedding band on my right hand?

I agree, I like it alone!  You most certainly could get a band and wear it on your right hand, if you would like to have a new ring to exchange during the ceremony.  I wear my grandmother’s band on my right hand every day!

I would either get a wedding band for the ceremony which you wear on your right hand afterwards, or use THIS ring in the ceremony as your wedding band to!

Personally I think if you add to it it will look too much
