I love the look of the channel set with the three-stone ring. It adds some variation and structure, if that makes sense.

The third picture is my old ering and original wedding band!! I preferred the channel band to a shared prong band (which I also owned at the time) because I felt like it would’ve made the whole thing a little too prongy between the prongs on the ering and then the little shared prongs.

I now also own a shallow u cut pave band but don’t have the three stone anymore to take a comparison pic.

michellelynn9175 :  I agree that channel set can look dated, but that said I love mine! I think minimal sides is the key for this style. I adore three stone rings with eternity bands, what about this style?

michellelynn9175 :  I have a channel set full eternity band and I absolutely love it! My gold is thin on the sides and it’s gorgeous on. My favorite band I’ve ever had honestly. I say do channel set for sure!!

What’s old is always new again eventually. Remember when yellow gold was nowhere to be seen? I say go with what makes you happy!

I love my full eternity channel band! Definitely another vote for the channel band here.

Both rings are 14k YG. I think the key to making channel seem less “old” is to find one where the metal surrounding the diamonds is fairly thin.

michellelynn9175 :  When we got my rose ring this anniversary my son had lost my wedding band, just a plain one. Well my hubby surprised me with that plain I have in the stack and the channel set. He got it from Adiamor. It’s a 3/4 carat total weight band. It’s perfect to me! I love it stacked with my rose and the thin plain band. Here is the link to the ring on their website!

michellelynn9175 :  I usually buy from DK too, but my husband wanted to surprise me and so he picked that out online. Which was fine with me. It’s a beautiful quality and gorgeous! Definitely ask DK for a price quote. The price is great too. I was surprised it didn’t cost more. And my hubby said Adiamor was excellent. After he placed the order they called him on the phone to confirm everything and had it mailed out within a week or so. I highly recommend DK and now Adiamor too after seeing my ring!

michellelynn9175 :  P.S…. DK must be busy busy… He made a wedding band for me that I’m giving my hubby. Ordered it a few months ago. I emailed to do the final payment because it’s done now and haven’t heard back yet with the payment request. And I emailed last night and again this afternoon. So I’m thinking they’re maybe busy and behind on emails.
