Some of you may remember my custom ring.
I have 4 of the small halo diamonds left, and was thinking of making a custom band like this:
So in the mean time, I bought this thin little gold band, and I’m actually really liking the way it looks. I feel it’s dainty and appropriate and now I’m wondering if I should just use this band. Or if I should make the other band still because I may regret it if I don’t.
So wha would you do? Stay with the thin gold band, or get the custom ring made?

I like the thin gold band.

I also like the thin gold band! But that may also be because I don’t like bands like the other one you pictured, the assymetry throws me off. Your e-ring has a lot going on and is striking so the thin band is subtle and compliments it!

Another vote for the thin gold band!

jgti23 : I vote thin, you can always get a more elaborate band as an anniversary ring but the plain really compliments your engagement ring 🙂

nykkee : I’ve thought of it but I feel like if it wasn’t exactly perfect it would bother me.
Thanks everyone for the input, I think I’m going to stay with the thin band. At first I thought I wanted to stack bands, but now that it’s on my finger I like the simplicity.

I also like the simplicity and elegance of the thin gold band.

I’d use the thin gold for a wedding ring and the other as an eternity ring. Often the eternity ring is given at the first anniversary (or maybe sooner if couple has significant news or overcome adversity) then you will have the best of both.

I love the thin gold band. It doesn’t detract from your main ring 🙂
