@OrchidsandCandles: That’s interesting. I have actually never heard that term before. I want to look into that more, it makes me feel less weird forlooking at it that way.

I think I always questioned my grandmothers faith from the start but my mother taught me a ton about Wicca and natural living so what she believed made a lot of sense… I really respect it but I can’t stick to it I guess…

I think theres something out there but I can’t prove it and neither can anyone else so I just kind of fell into the agnostic group.

    I went with ‘Other’

I wasn’t raised as anything (we never went to church or talked about religion) but when asked, my mom would say she is a Christian.

For me- I think Jesus was a pretty cool dude. And I think the principles of Christianity are pretty awesome. But if you get down to the deets of other religions, they are all very similar. (Be a good person, essentially).

I also celebrate Christian holidays (Christmas, Easter) and feel the emotions of what they mean and represent religiously.

That said, I am not positive there is a God, but am pretty sure, so I am sort of agnostic too.

Fiance is Buddhist. He’s even bald (haha, but not because he’s Buddhist. He just thinks it’s easier than maintaining hair).

DH and I are both Lutheran, specifically WELS which is a pretty conservative group. DH grew up WELS and I was a part of a non-denom church growing up. Faith, religion, church etc are all very important things to us.

DH and I were both raised Catholic but now I’m atheist and he’s agnostic. He says that the only reason why he’s not atheist is because he’s “too much of a pussy to admit that there’s no higher power”. Lol

I was raised Lutheran and DH was raised Catholic.

Edit: You don’t need to edit the poll back, but fyi, Catholicism is a form of Christianity.

@zippylef:  Catholic and Christian are definitely NOT two different things.  They’re different branches of the same religion, but, for example, Catholicism is *much* more closely related to Lutheranism or Anglicanism than Lutheranism or Anglicanism are to Baptists or Calvinists.
