  • Oakley sunglasses

  • Louis Vuitton Tie

  • Burberry Belt

  • Cologne

I don’t know if that helps…

My fiance’s birthday is the 25th of October! The best gift I ever got him was some antique coins. He collected coins and had a ton of them but they all got stolen so I got him a couple of really cool ones and then a really nice leather journal. First birthday we were together and it bawled his eyes out, I can’t beat that present ever. Last year I got him new clothes and these skull people and this year I plan on getting him a new ipod.

I prefer “experience” gifts.  Meaning i like to give him concert tickets, hockey tickets, plan to go dogsledding, hot air ballooning, ziplining, trip to the zoo etc. Those are all things we have done in the past.

We are at the age where we can afford things for ourself if we want them. Time is more valuable.

I don’t remember anymore if these were Christmas or birthday, but I think the 2 gifts he liked the best were a Leatherman mutlitool (think pocketknife with a lot more stuff attached) and a framed photo of his dog Guinness. I also gave him a table saw for Christmas which he still uses.

+1 on the experience gifts.  Plan a day of fun activities or get him tickets to a concert or sports event or go away for the weekend.  Those are the best gifts in life.  (It’s been proven by studies, I’m not just making that up lol).

A kindle, a stupidly expensive pair of headphones, a blazer, converse, debrett’s guide for the modern gentleman (he loved that). One year I’m going to get him the Lego Death Star, but it’s £270 so maybe not just yet.

He’s 24 and has ridiculously expensive taste. He buys himself everything he wants. He’s eyeing up a £3,000 watch. Crazy boy.

I’ve also cooked dinners, taken him out, and bought him random things.

Same as PP, we’ve been together for 7 yrs so I don’t quite remember what was for birthday/xmas/anniversary, etc. Do you have a budget? Some years I spent $20 some I spent over $100 depending on my financial situation haha.

-TShirts/clothes in general

-Video games

-Tickets to concert/comedy show

-gaming keyboard (for the computer)

-sirius radio

-kitchen/cooking stuff (he likes to cook, so fancy knives/pots/pans,etc)

-cast iron teapot & fancy teas cuz he’s into that too

I could go on… Man is that kid spoiled.

I brought him to a comedy club in a hotel, and we stayed the night, had dinner reservations.. It was a lot of fun!  I did that the first birthday we were together.

I cannot remember for the life of me what I did the next year, but last year I took him on a Cornucopia Cruise where you see the view of Manhattan.  He loved that!

This year, his birthday is actually this Sunday, I bought him tickets to a Yankee game (he’s been dying to go to the new stadium) and I bought him a bottle of Absente (I think I spelled that right).

It’s a surprise, but I don’t know how we’re getting there (probably train) so I’m going to give it to him at 12:00 a.m Saturday night so he knows to wake me up early and we can get on a schedule.

I always treat him to dinner too!  Some guys don’t mind when the girl pays, and my husband is very appreciative.  He often doesn’t order something expensive or get another drink because I’m paying.

We have only been together for 2 birthdays but somehow I always end up giving in DIY gifts (totally not on purpose). His favorite is from his first bday we were together. We are in a LDR so I made him a pillowcase with a giant picture of my face on it! LOL He sleeps with it every night we are apart 🙂
