i use and have a stockpile of guerlain’s lingerie du peau

but of course, now i feel it looks too dark on me and i want a slightly lighter shade.  because that’s what happens when you stockpile literally anything.

I have been using the L’oreal Infallible matte foundation for the last few years. Started off really liking it, especially since it’s a bargain, but I think my skin has gone from oily to combination, so it’s gets too dry in some areas.

Just picked up the It Cosmetics CC Cream and very excited to try it! I’ve heard a lot of great things. Estee Lauder Double Wear is next on my list to try.

My favorite everyday is perricone MD no serum foundation serum. For hot, sunny weather I like Laura mercier tinted moisturizer as foundation/sunscreen with LM setting powder. For photo makeup I keep switching between MAC and Makeup Forever HD or Water Blend but I’m still looking for a HG.

+1 for Bare Essentials — I used to love that when I was more acne prone.

I also really did not like Dior nude air with the dropper because it made all my peach fuzz stand out hardcore. I am also meh about IT cosmetics CC cream because it smells weird and medicinal. I’ve found it’s impossible for me to match Tarte and Urban Decay foundation shades on my eurasian skin, but they always get rave reviews 🙁

amanda1988 :  Lingerie de Peu isn’t too bad but I feel like it’s a little too dry and their shade range is horrid!

For everyday I love Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. For evenings/long days, I use Makeup Forever HD foundation. Great coverage but not too heavy, IMO. I’m tempted to give  Fenty a try when I’m out though

I use NARS concealor and a beauty blender for both and love the results.

YSL Touche Eclat foundation is amazing. I have dry skin and just found this foundation for medium coverage. I went through a lot of foundations that didn’t work for me before finding it. Good luck with your search!

I have dry skin with acne scarring and lines.

I used to love rimmels lasting finish one.  The ivory we aren’t color match and it didn’t oxidize on me.  But I think it’s been discontinued. I also used to love Revlon color stay,  but they keep changing the formula and it just doesn’t have the coverage it used to.

I actually really like the Yves Rocher moisture cream.  Okay coverage,  100 beige is a good color match,  not expensive.  Only downside is staying power isn’t great.

Mac and Neutragena always break me out.  Cover girls oxidizes bad on me. Almay is okay,  but typically lacks staying power. Maybellone and L’Oreal I have trouble finding a good color match.

I’m usually good with one of the Korean BB creams in 21. They fade,  but usually not in a patchy way.  I hate when my foundation goes all patchy.

I’m about to go tomorrow to try out Lancome tent idole ultra and the effacernes concealer. Time to up my makeup game lol.

I have dry skin with quite uneven skin tone so need decent coverage. Usually Mac Studio Fix Fluid works well (and NC15 is the perfect colour) but at the moment my skin is SO dry that I need to use something else… finding the perfect foundation is a pain.

Im a Esthetician and I swear by COVERFX foundation and powder. It is Ph balanced so iit won’t emulsify (become oily later in the day ) or flake off from dry skin absorbtion. It covers inperfections and still alows skin to breathe. <3

For full coverage (matte look) I use both and for a lighter coverage I use a thin layer of foundation.

Contouring is overkill in my opinion- I prefer highlighitng and a natural GLOW in addition to foundation – I use Fenty Beauty highligting powder in Trophy Wife ( great for weddings!) and Urban Decay Naked Illuminator

Blush is ALWAYS Nars Super Orgasm or Tarte Cheek Stain

Always wear a sunscreen under your foundation girls!! Stay Gorgeous <3
