I use Clinique, it works nicely for my super sensitive skin.  I also have Bare Minerals but, for me at least, the eye shadow doesn’t last very long.

I use Maybelline or MAC for both of those. It depends on where I’m going/how dressy I want to be. But both brands stay on really well for me. 🙂

So my collection is mostly Origins and Clinique. But I tried Urban Decay last night, and I found the deslicking and allnighter sprays and the eyebrow potion (goes beneath eyeshadow) worked really well! (FWIW, I used my origins foundation powder and blush with the UD products)

For eyeshadow, definitely Urban Decay’s primer potion! That stuff works miracles.

As for regular makeup, I use all kind of different brands from MAC and Urban Decay to Cover Girl to Wet N Wild. All brands have some good products and some bad. Don’t fall into the trick of “Oh, this makeup is expensive so it must be better.” So not true. Just test out a few things and see. A lot of expensive brands and stores will let you try things out and most drugstores will return products you don’t like.

One of the best purchases I’ve made was a 120 eyeshadow palette. It’s liek $20-$25 for 120 eyeshadows and they are really good and super pigmented. Just google it and you’ll find it, they’re made by a bunch of different companies.

Primer is important – I second the Urban Decay primer potion for eyeshadow, and I use Smashbox Photo Finish primer for my face.  I use Physicians Formula mineral powder, and Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer when I want some more coverage (but usually I just do the primer and then the PF powder).  For eyeshadow I use the Too Faced Natural Eye palette.

Urban Decay lipstick, shadows, primer, liner and sometimes mascara.

Smashbox pconcealer and lipstick.

Neutrogena pressed face powder and lotion.

Fushion Beauty for lip plumper and mascara.

L’Oreal mascara.

Maybelline mascara.

I’m a mixed bag and love mascara. 🙂

Mac, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Korres. Givenchy mascara is the ONLY mascara that gives me the illusion of long lashes!

I use Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow, Maybeline mascara and Bare Minerals foundation. For lips, I’m a chapstick girl 😉

I agree with the others about the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I use it everyday & my eyeshadow doesn’t crease or fade. Here’s the link.. (You can buy it at Sephora).

As for powder/foundation, I use Sephora Collection Matifying Compact Foundation. I love it.

For eyeshadows, zippylef mentioned she uses a 120 eyeshadow palette. I also use a palette. You could get some  here. (great prices)..

I use Makeup Forever HD for my face primer, foundation and setting powder. I use a ton of different eyeshadow brands, but TooFaced’s eye primer and Tarina Tarantino’s shadows will stay on forever.
