 dw4518 :  The Round Brilliant cut is the sparkliest and brightest cut but that means Round Brilliant vs non-round cuts – so, for example, Round Brilliant vs cushion. The reason for this is that you loose light return in the corner areas whereas round cut stones reflect light from everywhere.

I always think you have to take what you see in videos and pictures with a grain of salt. There are so many variables to consider – quality of the camera, angle of the stones, lighting, quality of the monitor, etc. It’s always best, if possible, to order the stones and see them in person.

miumui :  might just be the angle but the round brilliant in the video looks far less sparkly and the splintery lines are really dark. the middle bit just looks white with black splinter lines
