SO just surprised me last night with the new LG G2. I have never loved a phone so much. It’s awesome. I had the Samsung Galaxy S3 before, btw.
Anyway, what brand of phone do you have? Pick your brand then whether it’s a smartphone or not. I’m curious what kind of phones you have.
Does anyone else have the LG G2 yet?

I have an Apple phone and I love it. Right now it wont hold a charge so I’m using a Droid and I hate it!

I switched from apple to the Samsung galaxy4 😉
you can do way more on the androids than apple… yet apple is just so life friendly and not difficult to figure out! LOL

@gigglebox: Apple is definitely easier to figure out for those who are confounded by technology. SO’s mom switched from her iPhone 3 to the Samsung S3 and she was so confused by the simplest things. She hates the phone, but the phone isn’t the problem. Operator error lol.
The G2 is even better than the S4, based on the specs. The camera is better, the processor is better, and a whole bunch of other stuff I don’t understand lol.
This phone has so many features. I just got it last night so I don’t know them all yet, but here’s one I really love: you can personalize the icons on the phone! I changed my “phone” button to a picture of my pet rabbit. I changed the contacts button to a better looking contacts button I found online. I changed the gallery button to my fave pic. This phone is sick!

I have an Android LG Mach. It’s wonderful, and I’ll be really sad when I have to upgrade. Hopefully I’ll be able to find something similar. I need a physical keyboard!

Until a week ago I had a Motorola Razr from 2006! When it finally and completely stopped working, hubby surprised me by finding room in our budget for a smartphone and I LOVE my new iPhone 5s.
We are kind of addicted to the Apple products even though I find their help desk pretty unhelpful.

I have an apple iPhone 4s and i hate it, I have had the iPhone since the iPhone 3g came out and never wanted anything else but my Darling Husband just got a samsung galaxy s3 and BIL and Father-In-Law just got the s4 so i want one of those, they look nicer, the battery is better and the apps are better and more of them are free!

Apple because it was free.

I have an iPhone 5 and so does FH.
I like that there are a lot of different varieties of phones out there, however I really don’t understand the need for a giant phone with a 5 inch screen, like the Samsung Galaxy Note for example. Maybe it’s because I still use my phone to call people (I don’t have a home line right now), but those things look terribly awkward to hold up to your ear and they won’t fit in your pocket!

iPhone 4S… I got it for Xmas ’11 and it was my first phone that was not a free-with-plan flip phone. I love it, but I plan to upgrade to a 5 or 5S at the end of the year. I need something bigger than a 16GB because even with deleting aps I don’t use, regularly deleting photos, etc, it still doesn’t have the space to upgrade to ios7.
edit: and the battery life is awful!

I have the Moto X. Love it. The quick access to the camera sold me and it has made my phone totally worth it. I was so tired of missing great pictures because I couldnt open the camera app fast enough.

@musical-lady: +1. I have an iPhone 5, and whenever I see the huge quasi-tablet phones on TV shows I can’t imagine holding one up to my ear for an extended period of time, I think it would take over my face! Fiance has an Android-based phone, but it’s not a Galaxy or anything, it was something cheap that Virgin had.
