I found this site while googling something about wedding day logistics (can’t remember what) after I got engaged, and stayed because I find it interesting.

I came for the rings and manicure porn and the great advice people gave on how to find and source your settings and center stones. I was a lurker for years. A post by longtimeMrs inspired me to create an account and start commenting.

Once the diaper wearing honeymoon guy happened, I was hooked.

I’ve actually been around since 2012 or so although with long gaps. I came on when I was desperately wanting to get engaged and find some support in the time of “waiting.” I ended up getting engaged back in 2013 and now we’ve been married almost 6 years! Came back recently as we went through the TTC process and now I’m 16 weeks pregnant. It’s been a neat place to grow!

It popped up when I was searching for moving advice of all things lol but I love all things weddings and the general support I saw on the boards so I stuck around for that 🙂 it’s been really nice during quarantine.

I came for the rings — for sure — when I was first engaged.  Then I kept reading for the entertainment.  I got married in 2016…so It’s been like 5 years.  I mostly lurk on the bee, but I do love reading the crazy posts.  And looking at rings!

Twizbe :  I was on the same British forum, and I came here for the exact same reasons, possibly from the same thread!

I swear I’m not stalking you, I just remembered your username from the British site. I don’t think I’ve been back there once since I discovered this site though.

brittanyeide :   I came across the site researching rings, and lurked for a while reading relationship threads as much as anything else. Guess I’m a natural busy body lol.

I stay for the punishment! yell

I was searching for ring ideas when my husband and I decided to get engaged in 2016. I learned about moissanite from this site, and got recommendations for the jeweler (David Klass) and moissanite source (Joseph Schubach) I used.

I’ve stayed because of the gossip, chances to give advice (I’m an advice column junkie so sometimes it’s nice to practice giving advice myself!) and the community.

Last year, my now fiancé and I were struggling with getting engaged. I was ready and he was dragging his feet. I found this site and it helped a lot, but also made me kind of crazy. After we got engaged I stayed active as I had been, but pulled back a little because I just didn’t need th support or distraction as I had I initially. I Have found the community very useful for the most part, but sometimes there’s a lot of negativity and I have to take a step back.

I was bored and needed more message boards to read, as mine had gotten pretty slow.  I heard there was a lot of drama over here so I came to watch 😀  I’ve engaged more than I thought I would.

I recently got engaged so I came here for help with everything wedding. I have no idea where to start and I don’t have many people in my life to ask for advice to help me through it, so I’ll be looking for it here.
