You could get a simple stainless steel ring – about $10-20.

My husband and I bought ‘fake’ rings for our honeymoon for that very reason. I got them from berricle.com and I learned of this place from the bee. They are a high grade cubic zirconia and look nice. It was fun because I bought a style completely different from my real diamonds…and a little bigger.

Can’t you just take off your ring when you go swimming and put in back on when you’re done? That’s what I did on our Cuban honeymoon. Who would notice if you’re wearing a ring or not in the ocean? So confused!

If you don’t feel safe where you are traveling, then leave the rings at home.  Seems simple!

I wear a stainless steel claddagh ring when I need a stand in.

luvmyDwight:  Just leave them at home in a safe if you’re that worried about about it. Do you have to wear a ring on vacation?
