If she hasn’t given you a preference,  I would lean to the bigger side (especially if money isn’t a problem).  I have small fingers/hands but I love the look and coverage of diamonds around the 1.5 carat size.  If you go towards the larger end, there’s no way she will be dissappointed πŸ˜‰

Mine is a 0.7 on a size 3 finger. I think it’s a perfect size!

I am a size 4.25 and wear a 1.7 carat diamond.

For your Girlfriend I would recommend something between .75 and 1 carat.

3/4 carat on a size 4.25 finger. This is the perfect ring for me!

I agree, it is really personal preference. My SIL has a 1.5ct on a size 3.5 finger, and she feels uncomfortable wearing it.

For me, I have a 3ct center diamond (plus added finger coverage with a halo) on a 4.5 size finger and think its the perfect size!

I am a size 3.75 and I love my 1.3 carat round. Not too big, but provides some good finger coverage. It depends on her style, though. There are some lovely smaller carats that look exquisite on tiny fingers!IMG_1663

First of all, are you sure that she wants a white sapphire? White sapphires are beautiful but it has a very specific look. If you’re looking for diamond alternatives, moissanite is also a great one.

To be, white sapphires are very understated. Unless that’s the point and her style, I’d definitely go big and bold with the stone and setting.

Carat size definitely depends on preference! I like the look of big diamonds, but for the jewelry that I wear, I don’t like going over the .5 ct equivalent. My ering has a .36 ct princess cut diamond and I wear a size 4 – my actual ring size is just under 4, but I sized up because my fingers swell up when it’s hot.

A 2.92ct aquamarine (rectangular cushion) on a size 3.5.

A .25ct bezel

1ct garnet.

All depends on preference and lifestyle…as you can see, everyone prefers their “perfect size” and no one can really agree what’s “perfect” for one size. 😊

I have an almost three carat sapphire, and it doesn’t feel that big at all to me. But I also have a size 6.5 finger. Just remember that sapphires face up smaller than diamonds so I definitely wouldn’t go lower than a full carat. I would go with a 1.5 carat to give you that 1 carat diamond feel if you want it to be a little dainty as well. Otherwise, the bigger the better when it comes to sapphires.
