I wear a 3.75 and my center stone is 1.11 carats. That’s not including the halo, which I don’t know how many carats it is. The whole ring is about 2 carats.

Mine is a 0.49 center stone (with another 0.5 carats for the double halo) and my finger is 4-4.5. Hope that helps! πŸ™‚

I wear a 3.33 ct (9.8 mm) round on a 4.75 finger and would be totally comfortable going to 12 mm! (a girl can dream, right??!!  HA!)  …but there is no right or wrong answer here.  It’s all about what what the intended wearer likes.  Since you’re going white sapphire, I would at least hit the 6 mm mark for a solitaire.  Also, use http://www.diamdb.com to compare stone sizes on her size finger.  It’s very helpful.

Don’t have my own yet but am size 4.5. I think between 0.5 and 0.75 is a great size for small fingers.

My aunt and grandma are around a size 4 and have 5 ct rings. I am about a 4.25-4.5 and have a .6 with .4 tsavorites on each side, I love it! To each their own πŸ˜€

I wanted to add that it’s important to look at DIMENSIONS in mm and NOT CARAT WEIGHT, as 2 stones with the same weight may not be the same size…

Here is a comparison of rounds ranging from 4.0 mm to 8.5 mm on a size 3.75 finger:

4.0 –> 4.5 mm and 5.0 –> 5.5 mm

4, 4.5, 5, 5.5 mm on 3.75 finger

6.0 –> 6.5 mm and 7.0 –> 7.5 mm

6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 mm on 3.75 finger

8.0 –> 8.5 mm (all shown on 3.75 finger)

8 & 8.5 mm on 3.75 finger

HOPE THIS VISUAL HELPS!

stran760 :  hi! Love your ring! Do you mind sharing the side profile? Is the pave band shared prong eternity type? What’s the size/pointers per stone on the pave? Thanks!
