Jumanji as well! I think it was the drums and that hunter, and of course getting sucked into a board game. That was probably the scariest kiddie movie. I watched Gremlins recently and thought it was terrifying! Can’t believe we were allowed to watch that!

- Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!! When the evil guy was locking kids up in his wagon I started screaming and crying and my Mom had to take me out of the theater (I was 5 or so). I dreamed about that psycho for days after that!!!
My son was afraid of ALF. My best friend had some very steep stairs that I was always afraid he was going to fall down, because he was constantly trying to climb them, so we put a stuffed ALF at the bottom and he never went near them again.
When I was older, 10 or 11, I lived in Riverside CA, and we always had earthquack drills at school. Then the movie Earthquake came out at the theaters, and scared me so bad that I had panic attacks whenever I had to go in tall buildings!

Willy Wonka, mainly because of Varuca turning into a blueberry and being disturbed by the oompa loompas! The Brave Little Toaster kinda creeped me out, but for some reason I always watched it when it came on. I remember being scared after seeing a preview for Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Certain parts of Mary Poppins were also sorta creepy…just youtube “scary mary” and see for yourself, lol.

Ursula from The Little Mermaid still scares the crap out of me.
Oh, and David Bowie in Labrinth.
