@kgirl91:  I will NOT buy white sheets or even light beige/cream sheets. My Fiance runs really warm and is so sweaty at night, so his pillow case and his side of the bed is always dingy, no matter how often I was the sheets or if I use bleach, etc. They never look as nice.

Our current sheets are dark blue. I much prefer dark sheets, I think they look super luxurious. I also sweat a lot in my sleep like PP said, so I know with lighter ones that could get pretty gross pretty quickly.

I used to have cream-coloured sheets and pillow cases, but they’ve all ended up covered in a range of stains – mascara stains, coffee stains, nail polish stains, even the odd AF stain (TMI).  Now I have beautiful blacks sheets, and they’re fantastic.  I would never buy anything other than black ever again.

I have black sheets and love them.

Darling Husband and I both sleep hot and white and cream sheets get dingy way too quickly.

We have red sheets but a white comforter….big mistake.  I have a bad habit of taking my makeup to bed with me and it is now showing on the white comforter.

White or cream. Yes they get dirty especially with sweaty boys but I just like white/cream.

I buy them with the 20% off coupon from Bed Bath and Beyond or TJ Maxx Home so I can throw them away and start over when they look grimy.

Plus I’m germ phobic and somehow in my mind I can “see” the dirt/germs on the white sheets that might be hiding on dark sheets.  I also wash the sheets at least 2Xs per week because I fear dirt.  Completely irrational but I can’t help it.

My Darling Husband scratches and bleeds sometimes in his sleep, so e have dark grey sheets. I think they look really nice too.

our favorite ones are purple, a muted plummy purple actually. they’re old and soft and worn in. they’re FI’s favorites, but i think we’re gonna need a new bottom sheet, the current one is getting threadbare.

i can’t use light colored sheets. they stain too easily (i have skin issues and scratch my skin to shreds sometimes in my sleep). plus, Fiance sweats like crazy when he sleeps. the one set of light colored sheets i have, i only use them in the dead of winter when it’s freezing cold out.

I’m a big fan of white. It’s nice to be able to bleach them once a week to keep them gorgeously clean. Also, I love the spa feeling of being surrounded by crisp whites.

I love crisp white sheets and I had all white bed linens before moving in with my Darling Husband. Sadly, Darling Husband doesn’t care for white linens and he gets bad night sweats so our current sheets are dark purple.

@kgirl91:  I have white sheets.   They do get dirty but I’m sure it doesn’t help that I have 2 chihuahuas and 4 cats sleeping in the bed with us. 🙂
