We are getting married right in the middle of winter and Im sure there will be a ton of snow. I always imagined having my bridesmaids in blush pink. I remember sitting on the bed one day with my mom going through pinterest showing her blush pink bridesmaids with the bride. She fell in love and said if she could ever get married again she would pick that color. My mom has since passed and I wanted to honor her in little ways at my wedding since she will not be here with us (physically) However, we are having a very non-traditional wedding, very small and intimate and our wedding party consists of our siblings. It worked out perfectly in a sense… We both have 3 siblings but heres the curve ball… I will have my 2 sisters and brother on my side and he will have his 3 sisters. I wanted him to pick a color for his groomswomen that he wanted. He picked green… Just green. I suggested a deep emerald green since i thought the color was stunning. But here is where it gets tricky… I dont know that emerald green and blush pink go well together for the winter. For some reason is screams spring. I was also throwing around the idea of emerald green for his siblings and champagne for mine and then the bouquets in blush. Or his siblings in champagne and mine in blush bouquets in white. Thoughts. Ive attached photos of colour options.

Personally, I’m not a fan of emerald green, especially during winter weddings. It just screams Christmas to me. If that’s the vibe you want, that’s fine! But I personally wouldn’t want that.
With that being said, the champagne one looks “blah”. Could you do a champagne sparkly dress? Or maybe a gold dress? That with blush pink would be stunning!!

I think emerald and pink could be lovely. I’d do emerald dresses with blush colored flowers.

SavannahJ051212 : I really like this color scheme for a winter wedding. The green keeps it wintery, but the pink keeps it away from Christmasy and more bridal.

This is a lovely pallette that PP suggested and def would work in winter!

The latte color dress just doesn’t do it for me. Blush and Emerald would totally work! Heavy greenery is definitely in style right now and it would be awesome to use a lot of greens in the bouquets and even the centerpieces. Greens and candles would warm up your winter wedding!

Blush, emerald, and gold are stunning together and would work beautifully!

I’m doing emerald, blush and hints of gold. That’s my vote! I picked this dress.

I love emerald and blush together!

I love the emerald, like someone said it could be a bit Christmasy, but only if you have a lot of other deep reds and velvets elsewhere in your decor.

peachnlello : how about everyone in Blush dresses and greenery bouquets?

I would go with the emerald green or the blush, but I’d pick the emerald green because the blush is a little summery. Not to the point where if you’ve always wanted blush that you shouldn’t pick it! I don’t think the green/blush combo looks spring-like at all. I don’t like the latte color at all- it looks pretty drab to me 🙁 Either the emerald green or blush would be beautiful, though! I almost chose emerald green before we went the rental route and selected their dark purple instead!

catskillsinjune : Originally I suggested everyone in blush dresses to my fiance but he didn’t really love that idea. He prefers his siblings are in different colours to differentiate the 2 sides. Which I understan. He said he would feel like he has no one on his side if everyone was in 1 colour.
So… we would still need to dress colours. I don’t want a glittery/sparkly gold… it’s a little too flashy for our taste.

It would have to be two colours
