I’m planning a fall wedding but I wanted more of the earthy and warmer tones of fall rather than the “festive” colors like reds, yellows, and oranges. So I decided on green, ivory and (truffle) brown with a few accents of black. However, now I’m lost in a sea of green. I don’t know which color green to choose from. I was originally going for a soft green like apple green but I also love the celadon green. But when I started looking at invites I’m getting free from the tux shop, I saw alot of olive on there. My worry is if I go with an apple or celadon green, how common would these colors be to easily find them? Which green is most popular?

It might help you to narrow down your green choices by checking out what potential venues offer in their color palette. I did green as my main color, and my venue offered a light shade which was sort of a mix between the soft apple green and sea-foam green. Here’s a pic.
But honestly, if you end up mixing a few shades of green, it’s going to end up looking great anyways.

You could do an olive shade of green. That would look nice with the brown and ivory. I agree the with the other PP that different shades of green is also a nice option.

I think that with truffle and ivory, a deep forest green would look elegant and sophisiticated, or a bright apple green will lend a more casual vibe.

Okay thanks ladies. I’m really trying to bring the green out in the flowers and decor. I like the idea of having different shades of green, I hadn’t thought about that.
