He didn’t have one for the first week or so of life, since he was a premie and was in a incubator so he was in wires and was just in a diaper. Once he was able to get out of the incubator he had a blue one, then one I made him, and then a orange & yellow one (fall baby) We had 4 week stay in the NCIU

At the hospitals I’ve seen it’s just up to the nurse to grab one that fits ;P they are usually made by volunteers or at nursing homes and are super cute!

Oldest daughter was purple, younger daughter was pink. Both crocheted. <- Is that the weirdest spelling of a word or WHAT?

My son was put in a plain, white, short-sleeved t-shirt, and pink and blue striped hat. The blanket they swaddled him with had foot prints on it 🙂

My little guy got a blue and white striped hospital issued one. But, we brought our own, so he wore that most of the time. Then, when the hospital photographer came to take his pictures, we got to choose a knitted one to keep. And we had a certain nurse 2 of the 3 nights we were there that we loved and she knitted him one as well.

Pink, blue, and white striped hat. We didn’t get to keep it though! They took it off to do the first bath and then I’m not sure what happened to it. The hospital where I have birth doesn’t keep them on infants that weigh more than 5lbs. DS was close to 9lbs so needless to say he didn’t get to keep it on, LOL!
