(Closed) What Color Heels w/ Champagne Bridesmaid Dress for Our Classy Nautical Wedding?

Nude - A FEW BMs have them already and it is a popular shade now so they will wear them again.

Metallics - MOST BMs have silver/gold heels & they will match/work well with the silk organza dress.

Black - ALL BMs have them already so it would be easiest even tho the GMs are in Navy, not black.

OTHER - Have BMs buy a NAVY shoe to match their ribbon/the GMs (Im already paying for the dress)

I was totally going to vote for the navy shoes (since they will have navy sashes) but then I saw the nude shoes photo and they look so classy!  For some reason the darker shoes stand out to me, you don’t notice the dress as much.  The nude shoes blend so well… just my opinion.

I have the same colors in my wedding!  I love getting ideas from threads like this.  🙂

Oh PS – where did you find the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, if you don’t mind my asking.  I love them!

I vote navy or nude. I don’t think black will look great with all of the other navy things. The metallic seems like it may be too much or hard to find the right shoe.

Honestly, I like the cleaness of the nude shoes! It looks classy.  But Navy would be pretty also, you can’t go wrong with either choices. I, personally, wouldn’t do black though.

I’d definitely say nude!  It is a little risky to do navy because then shade might not match well with the sashes.  Nude, on the other hand, does not need to match anything to look good.

I thought navy at first, but looking at the pictures nude would work as well! I dont think black would though

I voted navy…. I am a HUGE fan of using an accent color for the Bridesmaid or Best Man shoes… Personally, I’m not a fan of nude shoes… However I think your two best options are navy and nude 🙂

Hmmm tough choice. I really like the look of the gold/champagneish shoes but I like the navy idea too…..I’m gonna have to go with the navy

@KimmySumShuga:  Oh my gosh! You were able to get the Ann Taylor dresses in the sizes you needed afterall?!?! How did that happen?! That’s fantastic!!

I love nude, metallic or Navy (definitely not black), but I would be concerned about the metallic and the nude possibly clashing with the champagne dresses.  Some nude shoes have grey undertones, some have tan/brown undertones, some have pinkish/rose undertones, others have more yellowish/beige undertones, etc., sort of like different make-up foundations that approximate some flesh tones. There are many different shades of Navy, too.  I’m thinking with your yacht theme, I would like Navy the best, but any of those options would be fine as long as the nude or metallic tones of the shoes do not clash with the champagne tone of the dresses.

ETA: I love Navy shoe #4. Gorgeous!!
