I am really stuck on colors…I aws just giong to throw my hands up and put the girls in ivory but now having second thoughts. I really like an alfred angelo’s dress, and i’m considering the “loves first blush” color to encorporate with my ivory/white romantic theme…and possibly do some black accents. But what color is this exactly? Is it pink? (looks nothing like their pink swatch) Mauve? ashy purple? I’m not sure what to tell people if I pick it. here’s some pics. The dress I want to order is in Chiffon. I also included a mauve color sample I saw one of the bees posted on here….What do you think? Any idea where would I could put black accents?

You could maybe do a thin black sash around the band part of the first dress. Or maybe some black flowers. And if not on the dress..maybe do black jewelry or black hair accessories..

Hmmm.. I’m thinking “pale ashy blush rose”.
I’d do black shoes and headbands.

When I first looked at before I read your post I thought “lavender” but upon closer inspection I think my monitor might be playing tricks on me.
Dusty Rose sticks in my mind…
Black chunky bracelets and black hair accesories (either hair flowers or feathers) black beaded necklace (like a strand of pearls but with large polished black beads)

Thanks guys…Im still thinking it will end up looking purple, not my desired color. I stll might stick with the ivory dresses and add pale pink and black accents. The ideas about necklaces, headbands and shoes are great.
My venue and church is very old, very french colonial, so Im tryiing to keep it very elegant…it really doesn’t demand much color at all and I’m thinking going too matchy/matchy or overly cohesive with any color scheme might fight with the atmosphere. And I”m having special lighting on top of it all.
I have a vision and I just hope it works. I haven’t found many examples with what I’m going for.
